our week and 20 months

We had a fun week as usual.  Here is Tahl is his mommy and me class at school. He is going to be a great dad some day, but he might need to learn how to put the baby in the high chair.

Then he made us all some cookies. 

He loves to lay in this little nook and snuggle the carpet. 

Here he is playing the drums in music.

He was so mad when we cleaned up the instruments and did not immediately go outside. He did eventually get over it enough to play with a scarf. 

After school Tahl went home for a nap. When we picked Zev up, we went to a friend's house for a reindeer play date. Tahl looked so cute in his hat.

Everyone's favorite part was the reindeer cookies and milk. 

 On Wednesday, Tahl was 20 months old.  I really still can't believe he is so big. He is still talking more and more all the time. His fits are also growing in frequency and intensity. He had to get down from dinner twice this week because instead of eating, he just yells at me, "I COOKIES!" Tahl is very bossy, and he will tell you "move, go that way, stand up, I have that..." It is really fun though to know what he is thinking ALL THE TIME. 

On Thursday we went to the zoo.  Here is Zev holding hands with his friend Lucy. We ended up leaving when Tahl got so mad that he had already eaten all his chips that he couldn't recover. 

On Friday while Zev was at school, Tahl got to spend some time with Mimi and Uncle Scott. He also got a few more presents. 

Scott gave Tahl this Snuffy puppet that he loves. 

Saturday the guys took a bubble bath. 

I made Zev some lovely art on his new LeapPad.

Then we went out to a birthday party.  The boys had so much fun jumping in tons of bounce houses. 

 Here they are patiently waiting for cake. 

On Sunday just Zev and I went to another birthday party.  It was at an indoor play center, and Z spent a lot of time playing with this Barbie house. 

Sunday we also went to a dinner party at a friend's house.  Here is Zev watching a movie with the other big kids. 

As the night went on, I found him just laying on the couch watching with a cookie in each hand. I think he had a good night. 

 Tahl had a great time just eating all night long and playing with the other kids.
