The rest of April

Staying home all the time leads to less pictures than you would think because nothing new or exciting is happening.  I still got a few for the rest of April, so here they are!

Silly spaghetti head

Tahl and Isaac have been putting on lots of plays.

Here is the big ending.

We baked lots more yummy things like these delicious cookies.

Maya LOVES asparagus.  She really loves most veggies.

Here she is eating all the olives off everyone's pizza.

Maya got an early birthday present from her Mimi.

She has really been loving her slide.

Ari repainted the door to the garage with chalkboard paint. We rearranged the back porch so it would be more usable space for the kids.

Here is Maya still playing in this giant broken bucket. This sad bucket just keeps on providing hours of fun.

The big guys got to swim in the real pool! It is still freezing, but they don't care.

This is a picture of when Maya got down a bowl of yogurt off the counter. It was gross.

Just a selfie I found on my phone taken by Isaac.

Another swim for the big boys (no picture because they love to swim in their underwear...) and a fun afternoon at the water table for Miss Maya.

Maya is wearing Zev's clean laundry he hadn't put away in this picture. You may recognize Zev's two favorite pairs of shorts.

Isaac and Tahl were playing Indiana Jones. Tahl really has a talent for finding just the right props for a part.

Here is some art Isaac made for his teacher.  Doesn't every kid make his teacher a bloody werewolf, a bat, and a vampire as a love note?

Isaac was so lucky that his teacher came over to our house to visit. He got to give her his present and show off his balance biking skills.

Tahl is 9!

Tahl celebrated his 9th birthday in quarantine.  We were able to still have a really special day for him, and he loved it.  It started off Saturday when his friend Pailet surprised him by decorating the sidewalk in front of our house.

We decorated his hallway in our usual tradition.

He really enjoyed his morning birthday song.

It also so happened that his birthday was also Easter! So everyone got a little something.

Tahl got books from Pops and Gram.

He got magazines and a puzzle book from his Mimi.

And he got some awesome art supplies from his Buby and Buster.

From Ari and I he got a new Harry Potter bathrobe and an interactive wand.

Zev thought it was hilarious how big the pjs that the Easter Bunny brought him were.

Here is Maya enjoying her magna doodle from her Easter basket.

The Richardson Family stopped by to sing and throw balloons for a birthday surprise!

Tahl got to have a birthday zoom with all of the Lunds.

He celebrated with a cookie cake.

His friend Bobby also came by to decorate our sidewalk!

He and Zev loved trying out the new science kit that we subscribed to for their birthdays.

They made some cool foam.

And got to use fire to create a sugar snake.

Zev was looking pretty funny using this VR box (incorrectly.)

Maya got an early birthday gift too when we gave her little scooter a makeover with some new parts.

She's not so sure about riding it the right way though.

Tahl worked on his skate and scooter combo.

Then the boys had a confetti egg fight with their eggs from the Easter Bunny.

And I remembered that it was almost dinner and I hadn't gotten Tahl's birthday picture yet!

The first ones were not his best work.

Then I started shouting nonsense things at him like he was Maya, and I got some real smiles.

Happiest of birthdays to this guy we love so much.  We had a great day celebrating him and kicking off our season of birthdays!
