this week

Here are a few pictures of this week for Zev and Tahl.

I have some pictures Zev's teacher's posted.  I thought this one was funny because Zev is trying to make "eye contact".  He is taking that very literally when he does try.  It's pretty cute.

Playing some kind of game with his friends.

Back at the pool, here he is playing with a watering can.

Now dumping it on a friend.

Tuesday was funny hat day.  Zev, of course, wore his Goofy hat.

Tahl wore a puppy hat for funny hat day.  Miss Gail even took his picture and posted it on the class site.

Here is Zev on Purim dressed up with his friends.

He wanted to be a knight so he could fight Haman. (I'm not sure if I spelled that right.)

Here is Zev just sitting at shabbot with Scooby Doo and a Jedi.

At home, we decided to paint our bath tub using colored shaving cream.

The guys had so much fun.

I didn't really think it through, and now we have colored grout.  I still have to figure out the best way to clean it.

It was fun while it lasted.

Over all though, I would say it must have been pretty tiring...

Cincinnati

Last weekend we went to Cincinnati to a wedding.  Zev and Tahl had so much fun with their cousins.  Here are a few of the pictures Rachel sent me.

Here is Ellie (5 months) with Harper.  Tahl loved playing with both of them.  He really thinks he needs a baby.

Here is Ari with his dad.

Harper LOVES Ellie.  She says her name over and over.

We went to the children's museum on Saturday, which was really cool.  Noah built this with there with a friend.

All the kids loved the ball area.  Jaren is on the right with Ava in the back.

Ava loved the grocery store.  She and Tahl were shopping together.

Ava was driving Harper around in the construction equipment too.

Tahl was busy filling his car with gas.

Ava and Jaren were driving the bus.

Ava and Jaren love to play together.  They are so sweet.

Here is a picture I took in the elevator of the three biggest kids on the way to the wedding. Tahl, Ellie, and Harper stayed back with babysitters.

Noah loved the aquarium. He ran all over having the best time.  Here he is with Oren.

Zach, Ava, and Rachel at the wedding.

Zev and I at the wedding.  Zev was really well behaved all weekend, and he had a great time at the wedding.  He loved being fancy and seeing the mostly empty aquarium.
We had lots of fun visiting with everyone.  We also got to go and see where Ari and his family lived in Cincinnati.  They moved when Ari was two, so he doesn't really remember, but it was fun to see.

the park

Every Tuesday between Speech and play group, if it is nice outside we got to the park to play.  I had my camera with me because I had been working on pictures for the cookbook at Zev's school, so I got a few good ones.

Tahl had taken over Zev's heart glasses.

Cheese!

Tahl was having fun playing on the slide.

Here is Zev across the way posing.

Extra big cheese!

These two boys are getting ready to race down the slide together.

Zev was pretending that this was a vet's office.  Here is feeding my dog.

Now my poor dog needed shots.  I'm sure you can see from the action in this photo that they were not very gentle...

Here is Tahl getting ready to go down the slide.

Next we went swinging.  Tahl LOVES to swing.

He especially likes it when I tickle him while he's swinging.

Zev is working really hard to learn to pump his legs.  Here he is practicing.

This is T telling me no more tickles.

Zev was in a great mood and super smiley.

He likes to wear his glasses tucked in to his shirt.  Isn't that how all the guys wear their pink butterfly glasses?

Tahl wanted to swing on his belly.

Tahl went back to the big slide.

He thinks he is a big guy like Zev, so he has to climb up the slide.

He's actually pretty good at it.

... and back down again...

Zev was coming down the highest slide.
Tahl won't go down this one, but he cheered Zev on from down at the bottom. We had lots of fun at the park.
