Random...

Maya is doing better week by week at following directions in gymnastics.

We went to the farmers market, and this was the only picture I got.

Zev and Tahl did a fun camp at Heritage Farms.  Maya was jealous she didn't get to feed chickens and pigs, so we found her a fun park to play at.

This picture just cracks me up.

We went to the park when it was overcast, and my four were the only ones on the splashground.

Maya got a new salad set from Gabe.

Zev and Ari are working together to build a little free library for our front yard for Zev's bar mitzvah project.  No one reads more than this kid, and it is a great way for him to volunteer during covid when most places still aren't accepting in person volunteers.

He also does an excellent impression of a balloon man outside of a car dealership.

6th Grade Graduation (and last day of school...

How is my sweet Zevi old enough to graduate elementary school??  He is excited and proud, but also nervous about junior high.  From my memories, that sounds about exactly right.

Here is a little video of him walking across to accept his "diploma."

Afterward we got some family pictures.

Zev got to leave school early and go to Top Golf to celebrate.
After school I went back to pick up the other boys.  I realized I had no picture with any of the kids teachers because of covid, so I decided it was the perfect time. This is Isaac with his sweet teacher Mrs. Mullinix.

My sweet Tahl with his teachers Mrs. Newsom and Mrs. Temple. This team had Zev too, and I really truly love them.

Just a little summer pose!

And a picture of the first day of school to the last for each of these guys.

We have so much fun planned this summer with lots of day camps, sleep away camp for Zev, our summer fun list, and lots of swimming and playing.

Buddy Fun Day!

The last week of school, Brentfield went above and beyond with three days of Buddy Fun Day (also known as field day for all of us older folks...) Zev was so excited to meet the stars of the BMX show.

He was telling me the day before how much he wanted to do the rock climbing, and then his sweet teacher sent me this.

Here he is with his class.

That afternoon Isaac had his soccer party.

Here is a picture of Isaac on his turn for Buddy Fun Day.

Here is Isaac's class.

This is Isaac with his buddy.

On the same day as Buddy Fun day, Isaac had a first grade party!

Maya was just at home with me eating a giant strawberry.

She also went to gymnastics again. I think she likes it.

I didn't end up with as many pictures of Tahl on Buddy Fun Day.  He didn't hang out with his teacher or have as many parent volunteers.  I do have two though!

Portland

Ari and I went on a kids free trip to Portland, Oregon.  First I got a haircut (after over a year).  She cut a lot!

Our first stop after our hotel was the Portland Rose Test Garden. It was beautiful.

After that we went to the Japanese garden. It was beautiful, but the only picture I took was of these ducks.

The next morning we went to the farmers market and a different craft market.

That afternoon we went to a brewery.

On Sunday we went on a tour of the Columbia River Gorge. We got to bike through the scenic high way and hike to a few different waterfalls.

After the tour we went to lunch at one of the food truck pods near by.

Then it was my turn for a tasting at a cider house.

We walked back to our hotel and happened to pass the iconic Portland sign.

We also happened to pass Voodoo Donuts.  We really wanted to try another doughnut place that is supposed to be yummier, but we couldn't make it work, so we decided these were better than nothing.

I actually loved my voodoo doll, but they were all too sweet for Ari.

We had so much fun on our trip, and it would not have been possible without the help of my mom, my dad, and Stacy.  Thank you guys so much for watching the kids!  We love you.
