Summer fun

Ari had to go out of town for an entire week for work, so of course, someone broke his window.  He was throwing a shoe at it to skill a fly. In case you were wondering, the fly got away.

Tahl told me he imagined that G-d looked like the green grumpy candy from Wreck it Ralph.  I had to look him up to see what he was talking about. I guessed he missed the old bearded guy everyone else imagines.

Here is Tahl post cherry eating.  Just making himself into a vampire, no big deal.

Tahl is great about playing with Maya all the time.  They have lots of fun together.

I came into my room one morning to find that Isaac had set himself up a workout.  Here he is exercising.

We went to the arboretum.  Maya wasn't sure at first about the hurricane machine.

She needed to hug her Tahli.

Oh wait, this is fun. Then she wanted to do it again.

She is loving being big enough to play more and walk around when we go places.

Maya and I got our own special puppet show!

She spent most of it climbing on and off the benches...

She did really like the kaleidoscope.

And she LOVED playing in the frog pond with her brothers.

We went to a birthday party where each kid got to decorate their own cakes.

Then Isaac got to go to his best friend's birthday party.  He was so excited.

Stay home days!

The day after we got back from Utah, I took the boys ice skating with their friends. I don't have any pictures of Tahl, but I have lots of videos because he is a pretty good skater.

Here is Tahl swimming the next day.  Did he eat a lot of cherries?  Or is he a vampire??

On Monday we went the the Perot to see a cool Lego art exhibit.

Maya was so happy when she could finally get down and touch the legos.

Here is Isaac showing off some serious dance moves.

Maya had her first Lund Field trip PBJ! It was a pretty big milestone for me.

Here she is being rocked to bed that night.  She likes to see herself on my phone.

On Tuesday we went to Kid Mania.  Maya had fun climbing and bouncing.

She and Isaac had lots of fun together too.

Here is Tahl all dressed up for a game he and Isaac were playing.

Maya was done with dinner, and she was going to get out of this chair one way or another.

Maya was cracking me up in this waiting room. She was sure that she was stuck in this chair.

On Wednesday night we went out for ice cream in our pajamas.

This was Isaac's first time with a cone instead of a cup.  He found it very stressful.

He also may have wasted quite a lot of ice cream.

Maya was very happy to be included in this trip.
