On our seven day we headed to the other park at Universal. We went straight to Diagon Alley.
Here are the boys casting a spell to let us through.
We were so excited to go into Gringotts to ride.
The ride was really great.
We had wands that we had borrowed from friends that are interactive and let you do spells.
The boys had lots of fun trying them, and it came really naturally to Tahl which he was very very proud of.
I loved all the book details.
There was tons of cool stuff in Knockturn Alley. You could go into Borgin and Burkes. They had the vanishing cabinet from the sixth book.
The also had the Hand of Glory and lots of other memorable stuff.
Tahl's favorite shop was of course the Magical Menagerie. He is now the proud owner of a Pygmy Puff and a Hippogriff.
We also found Hagrid's actual motorcycle there. Isaac is pretending to be baby Harry Potter here.
Going in the shops was actually as much fun as everything else. Tahl adopted his Pygmy Puff in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.
Here the boys are with the Knight's Bus. The shrunken head was actually carrying on a conversation with them.
We loved seeing the London side of Harry Potter. Here are the boys at 12 Grimmauld Place.
You could even see Kreacher poking his head out the window.
We left to ride some muggle rides for a little while.
We found the Mystery Machine parked on the sidewalk.
Isaac loved this little Woody Woodpecker coaster.
Zev and Tahl loved the Minion Mayhem movie.
They wanted to meet some Minions too.
Who doesn't need a banana hat?

We met Shrek and Donkey.
Isaac was so excited to see some Transformers!
The boys got their picture with Megatron.
I wanted to get my picture with Kreacher.
Ari ended up getting me a much better one.
We stopped to use this phone booth.
You can use it to call the Ministry of Magic.
We ate our ice cream from Florean Fortescue's looking up at Gringotts and the dragon on top.
We got to eat dinner this day in the Leaky Cauldron.
I got some great action shots of the dragon breathing fire.
We rode the Hogwarts Express!
Then we got to see the castle at night.
Some little wizard was too tired to make it back to the car awake.
For our final day of vacation we got up early and rushed back to ride the Forbidden Journey in the castle again.
We even got a picture on the way in.
We took the regular line so that we could see everything. We loved being in Dumbledore's office.
You also get to go through the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.
The boys watched the Frog Choir preform.
They got a picture with all of the houses.

We went back into Gringotts.
The boys got a better view of the inside of the Knights Bus.
Here is my angry pharaoh waiting for his brothers to get off of the Mummy ride.
He can also be a beautiful princess.
This is as close as he wanted to get to Optimus Prime.
Zev saw Gru and had to meet him.
Here are the boys with the Hogwarts Express again. We rode it one more time and finished our last day up early so that we could pack for an early exit out of town.
The boys were a little wild at five am at the airport. Somehow Captain Hook was with us.
Even after eight days of Disney and Harry Potter, they still couldn't get enough. Here is Isaac on the plane with his Rapunzel doll watching her movie. The same movie he watched on the way to Disney!
Tahl spent the entire flight reading the sixth Harry Potter book.
Here he is it some more at home while jumping on the trampoline. He just can't get enough.
