Arboretum

The boys and I took our first trip to the arboretum of the fall.  We love to go see the pumpkins, and I know we will have to go again with Zevi.

Isaac kept yelling "BALL! BALL!"

By the time we get to Halloween, I am going to get him to say "pumpkin."

Tahl got a cute picture too.

Here is my sweet baby in jail.

Look at these cute brothers!

Then we went to get in line for face painting.  Tahl was pretty happy with his white tiger.

He is fierce.

He was crawling around and growling at everyone.

He is the world's cutest tiger.

I had to keep trying to get the perfect picture of Isaac.  This one was pretty close.

Here is Tahl and a puppy dog Maddie looking out the window.

I came back from talking to Tahl through the window to find Isaac taking the perfect picture for some man I didn't know.

I tried to get in on it.

I stole it.
LOVE. THIS. PICTURE.

Here is Tahl having fun skipping down the path.

And posing with his friend Maddie.

Sadly, after playing a little while, he started to melt.  He decided that it was okay because he was half tiger and half boy.

He went to visit his pet dragon's family.

Then right before it was time to go he fell in a puddle that had been sitting a while and got pretty dirty.

Isaac's first Hair Cut!

Isaac got his first haircut this week.

Here he is still shaggy before hand.

Catherine was amazing as usual.  This is the third one of my boys for her to give them their first hair cut.

She gave him a spray bottle and a ride on toy, so he sat still for just a few minutes.

He didn't cry, which was the most important thing.

Here he is after with a new look.

He still has a little bit of a curl.

He's definitely still a cutie.

Last, here he is with his friends! Zev used to play with both of their older sibling when he was a baby, and now we are keeping the tradition going.

Thanks again to the amazing Catherine who cuts all my boys hair and never charges me for them. We love you.

Garth Brooks

I have loved Garth Brooks for years. I was so excited that he was coming to Dallas. I had a great time seeing him with my friends.

I'd like to give that man in the back a special thank you for his addition to our picture.

We had so much fun.  Garth was so amazing; if I didn't have kids, I would quit my job and follow his concerts around.

My Girl's Trip

I got to go on an amazing girl's trip to San Francisco. Here I am right after we got in from the airport out at lunch.

We were so excited to see Anna and Najah after a year apart.  We got to go see Anna's house in Burlingame.

Then we went on to North Beach to hang out and eat dinner.

Katherine and I had to take a "twin" picture.

The next day, after spending the night at Karen and Gregg's, we went to tour some wineries.  (Thanks again guys!)

We had a little bit too much fun.

As can be evidenced in this photo of me holding not one, but two wine glasses.

We had so much fun going to new places and spending the day together.

Here we are on Sunday after we lost Katherine, but before we lost Najah.

The four of us who were left went to spend the afternoon in Muir Woods. We saw some pretty impressive trees.

The last day Ann Marie, Heather, and I went to do some touristy stuff.  We saw the sea lions.

And we even rode a trolley.  It was actually my first time.

It had some pretty neat views.

While I was gone, my fantastic husband held down the home fort and even took Isaac to the pediatrician.

How cute is this naked guy hanging out waiting for the doctor?

I really missed all my boys, and I was ready to get home and see them.  Still I can't wait for my next girls trip!
