April's end

This is just an April phone dump from before I left for Israel.

This is how Tahl sleeps!  He still likes it best when he is in the middle of all of his "babies..."

We tried our best to get a picture of Tahl in front of the school marquee for his birthday.

Isaac, Beau, and Holden had to have their picture made with this statue of Jesus at the church with the free playground we play on.  This just cracks me up.

Emily, Beau, and Holden were over playing with Isaac and I.  Isaac locked us all in his bedroom!  Thank goodness Mimi lives three minutes away.  Here she is rescuing us.

I can never have enough pictures of my favorite three year old napping in his eye mask.

Tahl's magazines that were his birthday present from Mimi came.  He was so excited.

Isaac loves to build!  He likes legos and magformers just like Zev did.

Here is Isaac at a T-ball game.  He is getting much better at hitting the ball off the tee.  I will have to try to get a video next weekend.

Isaac and his team had their soccer party.  He was so excited to get a shiny trophy.

Here they are doing a cheer with their coaches.  Isaac loves soccer and T-ball.  We may be busy with his games forever.

Tahl's 7th birthday!

The night before Tahl's birthday I got everything ready for his big day.

They still love for me to decorate the hall.  They start talking about it weeks in advance.

Tahl requested Ari's special green pancakes for breakfast.  He got his own 7.

After everyone was dressed, we opened presents.  Zev gave Tahl some of his Pokemon cards.

My mom gave Tahl two different magazine subscriptions that he will love.

Ari and I gave T the Greatest Showman movie.  He can't wait to watch it.

We also gave him these bugs to go up on his nature shelf.  They are really cool and really stinky.

Last, Tahl unwrapped his present from his Baby and Buster.

These awesome skates with pads and helmet were Tahl's only surprise really, and he loved them.

We watched a little of the movie before school.

Then it was time for a little birthday picture!

I still can't believe this love is 7!

He is so smart, silly, and passionate.

He loves his brothers and was so excited to have Isaac and I eat lunch with him.

Here he is reading Isaac the book that came with his lunch.

At recess Zev's teacher took this picture of the two boys.  They really have a love/hate relationship, but when they are in love, they are best friends.

After school Tahl asked for his favorite snack, ants on a log.

Then we tried out the new skates!  It was a little rough at first, but he really improved.

He really had a lot of fun practicing.

Until he was ready for a break.

He even let Zev have a turn.

That night after his dinner choice of ravioli with sausage, we went to the first grade program.

Tahl was not pleased to sing baby songs like "Old MacDonald," but he did his best.

He also danced to "Deep in the Heart of Texas."

Here are some of his awesome moves.

After we got home, it was time for some ice cream, Tahl's birthday dessert choice.  This is the second year that he wanted drumsticks ice cream cones instead of cake, but on your birthday, you get what you want!

Happy birthday to our loving, silly, wonderful Tahl. He knows who he is, and we love that about him.

April fun

We have had a busy month.  Isaac was so proud that he figured out how to go down the pole at the park.  I can't believe he is almost four!

He still falls asleep on me on accident some times though.  I love these snuggles.

On a random Monday night, we went to birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese.

They had an awesome new Octonauts cup to ride in.  Isaac was in love.

One of the third grade teacher's gave Zev a recorder, so of course he put on a suit to give me a concert.

Here is some of his original music for your listening pleasure.

Next weekend Isaac has two soccer games, a t-ball game, and t-ball practice.  The big boys have a cub scout camp out, so we are staying really busy!

Tahl's birthday party day!

For Tahl's birthday we went to Pinstacks for a day of family fun with the Richardsons.  Grey's birthday is one week before Tahl's so they shared the big day!

They had fun doing bumper cars together.

We did some excellent bowling too.  Zev was Mr. Awesome, and Tahl bowled as his alter ego "Lioness."

Isaac liked a little air on his belly while bowling.

Tahl had a lot of fun.

The boys each got to open a present from the other boys family.

Tahl was very excited to get a unicorn fingerling just like he asked for.

Isn't she beautiful?

We also did lots of video games, laser tag, and spent on all our points on prize room junk.  It was a great (and very relaxed) party day!
