May is busy!

May is the craziest month around here (and I missed a lot of it in Israel and California!)  I'm sure that will get even wilder as we now have another birthday to add to the month! Zev made this sign himself to hang in our kitchen.

This was Maya's first stroller ride.  She rode in here while Isaac scootered around the neighborhood.

Tahl was so proud to babysit Maya for me at the library.  He sat on a little couch and held her while Zev and I checked out the books.

My mom had been out of town for a funeral, but she finally got to meet Maya!  Maya mostly slept through it, but I know she is going to love her Mimi as much as her brothers do.

Here is Maya trying on a new dress and leggings.  I think she won't need the pants again in this heat.

Isaac likes to keep Maya company during tummy time just like his big brothers did for him.

Isaac put some of Zev's gel in his hair and brushed it himself.  He says he looks like Ryder from Paw Patrol.

Isaac had a T-ball game.

He is really getting so much better. He seems to like it too.

Here is Tahl's class on Mr. Lemons day.  His principal was retiring, so all the kids were asked to wear yellow in his honor.

My Aunt Lisa came to town with Macey to meet Maya.  We were so glad they got to see her.

After they left Isaac asked if he could play in the rain.

He had lots of fun.

Ari and I finished hanging everything in the baby's room!

Isaac had a big day of play dates for his big brother's last week of school.

Our friend Melissa set her front yard up to be a preschoolers dream.

Isaac had the best time.

Here he is that night holding Maya while I read him books.

The next day at school, Tahl's class got to bring in stuffed animals.  He decided it was finally time to bring in his best girl, Nala for the last day to bring stuffed animals of the year.

On first grade award day, he got an awards\ for being "Mr. Fix it!" He said it was because he always fixes his teachers books for her.

He also got an award for being a "Computer Whiz."

At the same time, Maya and Isaac were having a fun morning at Play Date Co.

Isaac had his last game.  Here he is with his trophy and a popsicle.  What could be better than that?

On this morning I heard Maya crying.  Isaac came in so proud and told me he fixed her with a pacifier!  He was so proud that he had made her stop crying.  I took a picture for him to send to his dad.

Here is T on his first and last days of first grade. He definitely grew in hair, height, and maturity.  We were so lucky to have Mrs. Pate for a second year in a row!

Maya's first trip to the zoo!

We took Maya for her first trip to the zoo last weekend.

This is her with the new baby giraffe who is about one week older than her.  I think they will be friends.

He was a pretty cute baby too.

Tahl was in love.

We saw lots of gorillas on this trip.

As usual, everyone got eaten by the alligator.

Isaac's face was the best one.

In even worse news, our baby got eaten by a hippo.  We were very upset.

The hippo wasn't full yet, so next she ate Isaac...

... and then Zev...

We rescued everyone to get one family shot before the boys got in the water in the Children's area.

Ari and Maya went in for some air conditioning, but these guys had lots of fun.

Zev sat still for a long time, and he managed to get this butterfly to land on him five times.

We did one last ride on the carousel.  Overall, I don't think Maya was that impressed by the zoo yet.

When we got home we had a special visitor to meet Maya!  Rebecca came to meet miss Maya and introduce her to her future friend (still in Rebecca's tummy).  We can't wait for him to come out!

Maya's First Weekend Home!

Maya had a big first weekend in Dallas!  She and Ari arrived on Friday night at 10.

The next morning Tahl was the first brother to hold her.  He thought she was so cute.

Zev really likes the baby way more than we thought he would!

Isaac was so excited to meet the baby after so long waiting for her.

When he was holding her, he just started singing! Rock-a-bye Baby never sounded sweeter.

I have never grabbed for my camera faster.

Here he is singing one of my favorite songs from when I was a little girl, "Blue Skies and Rainbows."

After we got everyone up and dressed, we headed out for our newborn baby photo session.

The photographer was so good at getting Maya in the right spot and then calm.

This is only with my iPhone!  I can't wait to see how the photographer's pictures look!

She got lots of shots with the boys, so hopefully some of them are good.

Because the photographer was in Frisco, we got to stop by to see the Richardson's at T-ball.

Matt, Emily, Grey, and Beau were so excited to meet Maya.

Before I even got home, the photographer had already sent me this sample picture!  I love it, and I can't wait for all the rest!

The boys have been in a competition over who gets to feed Maya. Here is Tahl taking one of his turns.

She does not love tummy time.

After that, I heard a funny noise, and I found Tahl cleaning his room up while wearing roller skates!

Zev wanted to do the next bottle.

I told him that I thought he said he wouldn't like the baby because she would mess up his legos. He said, "Yeah, but actually, she's adorable."

The next time he fed her on Sunday, he told me he needed a picture with her on his chest.

On Sunday, Maya had some visitors!  We had Aunt Madi.

We also had Pops!

Gram got some special sweet baby time too.

My brother Scott and his fiancĂ© Emily came by as well, but somehow I didn't get those pictures.

We made sure to get a picture of Pops and Gram with all four of their grandkids!

I think they make quite a nice looking group!
