Zev went to camp!

For the first time, Zev went to sleep away camp.  Here he is when I dropped him off.

He loved all of the of the activities including riflery, arts and crafts, swimming, archery, and horse back riding.

Horse back riding was his favorite.  He came right home and convinced me to sign him up for horse back riding lessons each week.

Here he is with his counselor receiving the archery award.

He also burped the alphabet in the talent show while wearing his pajamas.

Zev had the best time, and he wants to go to camp for even longer next year.

Week two of summer

For week two of summer the boys went to Greenhill for camps.  Zev did Dungeons and Dragons camp, Isaac did spy camp, and Tahl did cartooning.  They had so much fun, but we got a lot less pictures.

Here are Maya, Tahl and Isaac at the park after camp one afternoon.

We played family hide and seek.  Zev managed to hide in the washing machine unfound for over fifteen minutes.

I helped Isaac get in the laundry basket, and Ari couldn't find him for a very long time either.

We went out for fancy gourmet donuts.

Here is some of Tahl's cartoons.  He really loved this camp and displaying all his art.

Maya got to go and meet a new second cousin, baby Theo.

Tahl and I had fun playing around with this new app that makes your pictures into cartoons.

This one is my favorite.

We also had a big milestone because Zev got his second Covid-19 vaccine.  He can't wait to be fully vaccinated!

Isaac's birthday weekend!

Isaac is SEVEN!

He had a great birthday, and he planned out every minute of it.

First, he opened presents.

Then it was time for pancakes!

After that we watched a movie because it was a little rainy. Then we went out for lunch at Mod Pizza.  Isaac said it was the best pizza of his life.

After pizza we went to the park.

Then we went home.  Isaac had some screen time while I finished up his cupcakes.  He requested banana cupcakes with chocolate chips with swirled peanut butter and chocolate frosting. We found the recipe online, and he wouldn't entertain any other ideas after that.  They were A LOT of work, but at least they were delicious.

After that we went for a swim.  Isaac requested a swim with cherries, and even Mimi and Craig came to visit.

On Sunday morning we got some birthday pictures of Isaac before we headed out to Six Flags.

Isaac had lots of fun riding everything he wanted with no waiting while his big brothers rode things he was too short for.

He passed a lot of time in line playing with my phone.

Here he is on the mine train, one of his favorites.

We went over the little kids mini rides, and he had a lot more fun than he thought he would.

Isaac even found a new water ride to love.  This crazy kid was soaking wet.  We had so much fun on our special day.

Isaac said it was the best weekend of his life, but he often says every day is the best day of his life (or the worst...). We love this silly kid.
