November (from boring to BIG VISIT to back to boring...)

We had a fun month. It was mostly slow, but with a BIG, IMPORTANT visit from family!

We had lots of fun on our slow days.  Here is a picture of two kids who will one day be mad I put a picture of them together in the tub on the internet. It is a funny one though. They had just a few bubbles.

Here is Maya pretending to eat a cupcake I made her.  She likes me to draw a wide variety of things from rainbows, candy, and cake to fire trucks, cars, and animals.

Isaac had a fun play date with a friend who happens to sit next to him at school and also live four doors down from our new house.

The most exciting thing of the month though was a big visit from Buby, Buster, Ava, Ellie, and Liv!

Here are the boys waiting outside for their RV to pull up!

How cute is this?  We were so excited to see our family!

The kids got to playing together right away.

The girls had never played Nintendo before, but they took to it pretty quickly.

Maya and Liv had lots of fun together.

The boys went to school while the girls did virtual school. After school they had lots of fun playing board games, going on walks and bike rides, having drawing contests.

Here are all the kids calling Harper B on her birthday!

Ari and his mom spent lots of time rearranging all the furniture and hanging all the art.  Karen and Gregg were such a big help around the house.

This is a picture of Ellie, Ava, and Tahl in front of the Lund's old house on the street behind ours.

The RV left for Atlanta (due to return for Thanksgiving!) Over the few days they were gone, we got the art up in the boys room.  Tahl got his nature wall put back together at the new house.

Zev said goodbye to his friend "Boxy."

I caught Maya and Isaac holding hands on the way into Costco to buy a pumpkin pie for Buster.

Here is Isaac writing a love letter to a fictional dragon.

He truly does talk about this dragon all the time like she is his girl friend.

Maya had fun taking pictures on my phone.

And sampling some whipped cream.

Here is Maya on her own just waiting for Thanksgiving dinner to start.

Here is everyone (minus Gregg taking the picture) just sitting down for a delicious meal. All the kids are wearing matching tie dye shirts that were made for them by Aunt Tova and all of their awesome cousins.  They love them.  I even got one too!

The next morning the kids got up bright and early for a day of art, dancing, and costume contests.

Ava is amazing a designing cool outfits. She made this dress for Ellie using a Captain Underpants cape.

This was Zev's entry into the costume contest.

Isaac and Liv had multiple costume changes too, but this one was their cutest dance.

Tahl and Ellie in the pirate section of the dance contest. Ellie is wearing another Ava creation.

In the afternoon they all watched a movie together with lots of snacks.

During the movie Isaac got bored, so he decided to go run himself a tub.  When it was already full he thought he should add bubbles. So he apparently poured in a lot of bubble liquid and turned on the tub jets.  This was the end result.

He was VERY sorry.

IT took forty five minutes to clean, and we have a new rule that no children touch the tub jets without an adult.

After this out visitors left and it got very boring around here again.  We were so lucky to see family for Thanksgiving though.

Family pictures

We got our family pictures early this year because we wanted to mix it up with a mini session at the mural in Deep Ellum.  We also need to send our cards our early so people will have our new address!

How cute are these four?

Silly faces...

This guy always takes an awesome series of photos.

Zev is looking so much older.

But no one has had as big of a growth spurt as this guy. He looks so much older since last year.

Always the cutest girl in our family

These are my favorite pictures of all!

Time to run away

Our photographer always makes us get a couples picture. I usually think it is silly, but then I like it when we get them back.
