Easter Visit to Tyler

Here are the baskets the Easter Bunny brought to the boys.  Poor Isaac's is pretty small.  I guess the bunny doesn't know what to bring one year old boys.

The boys were excited to see what they got.

They stopped in the middle for a bubble light saber fight.

Zev, of course, had to count his candy.

Tahl loved his new "lions, tigers, and bears, oh my" shirt from the bunny.

We tried to get a few pictures before our big egg hunt.

Isaac understood the hunting a little more this time around.

Zev is definitely our best hunter.

I tried hard to get more pictures of all three boys.

Most of them looked like this...

I am thankful we got to spend the day with my grandparents too.  I went up to their new place to visit them.  Here is a picture of them on the way out to Easter that day.  I love the "his" and "hers" walkers.

The week before Easter

Isaac loves to climb up into Tahl's lap to watch TV.  The only problem is that there is no guarantee he won't pull his big brother's hair....

Isaac loves to swing, and he asks to go to the park every day, sometime twice a day.

This lucky day, I got my big soon to be two year old to fall asleep on me.  I don't have many days of snuggles like this left, so I'll take them when I can get them.

On Tuesday after school, Zev magically didn't have any homework, so we took that as a sign to dye Easter eggs.

They turned out pretty cute.

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the big Easter Egg hunt at the church where I have my MOPS group again this year.

Isaac got one egg, and then he just wanted to stop and eat the candy.

I convinced him to get a few more.

It was very windy and cold.

Isaac went inside to warm up and play in the bounce house.

Isaac's favorite part was getting in the fire truck.

We got the standard picture of all three boys on the front of the truck too.

Before we knew it, Isaac had walked back over and climbed back in again.

The boys said a quick hello to the Easter Bunny before their egg hunt.

They got lots of eggs, and we had a fun time.
Isaac made this cute bunny at mops on Monday.  We are ready for Easter.

Fun with Dixie

We've had fun taking Dixie with us to the park this week.

Zev really loves giving her water and walking her around.

Here are Isaac and Tahl holding hands down the slide.  Sweet brothers.

Dixie gets lots of attention at the park, and she is very sweet to all the kids who come to pet her.

Here is Isaac at the park with just me after the library.

On March 16th, it would have been Jay's birthday. Mimi came over with cupcakes and silly spray to celebrate Papa.

So fun!

Isaac always tried to sneak away. I found him at the neighbor's house knocking on their door.

Mimi even brought Kade who the boys were so, so excited to see.

Last night, Zev said that he already feels like Dixie is a part of our family. I think we all agree. We are having so much fun with her.

DIXIE!

We have a new member of our household, and here she is!

DIXIE!

We went to meet her on Saturday morning, and then the owner brought her to our house on Saturday night.  Here I am getting to know her.

Everyone was very excited to see her when they woke up in the morning.

Everyone really loves to get in her crate and pretend they are dogs too.

Here she is with Zevi.  He made up a chore chart for who does what jobs with her on which days.  He has already fed her and picked up her poop today.

It was Tahl's day for treats.  I am not so sure how he will do on his day to pick up the poop.

Tahl said in this picture he was making a duck and/or platypus face.  He cracks me up.

I got him to smile in this one.

Zev is a dog here, but I am not sure what is going on with is hands.

Isaac is less sure about Dixie. He gets very jealous when she is in my lap.  That being said, he gets very jealous when his brothers are in my lap too.

We are actually Dixie's guardian home.  In the next three years we will have to bring her to her breeder to have two more litters of puppies.  For this though, she was free.  She is smart, sweet, already trained quite a bit, and pretty well behaved. We can't wait to see how she continues to adjust to living with our family.
