trouble and Utah

Isaac has become one of the family's biggest trouble makers, and that is really saying something in this family.  Here he is, where I'm not sure if you can tell, but he has turned on the tub.  He had also removed the toilet paper roll and was playing with the toilet cleaning wand.  I put these things on top of the toilet, but sadly he is taller than I thought!

He loves to relax in our chair on the floor after some busy trouble making.

Or dump all the toys out and sit in the toy bucket.

... funny baby...

Last week we went to Utah to visit all of Ari's family.  Sadly, both Rachel and I forgot our real cameras, so I only have cell phone pictures.

Isaac got pretty grumpy on the plane, and then Ari got about a twenty minute nap out of him.

Zev still LOVES his Uncle Oren.

We got to celebrate Tova and Brad's 15th anniversary with them at a delicious restaurant.

Oren and Harper passed out on the couch one morning.

Isaac made lots of trouble in Utah with all of the non-baby proofed things around.  This was one of his better activities.

We went to the pool, and did all sorts of fun things, but I was busy then, so I apparently just took pictures of people watching Scooby Doo.

Isaac got to have some ice cream for the first time.  He was a pretty big fan.

Here he is napping by the pool one afternoon.

Here is another Uncle Oren original face painting.  I'm always so sad when I have to wash them off before bed.

Somehow I didn't take any pictures of Tahl on this trip, but trust me, he was there, and he had a great time.  The boys loved playing with their cousins, the water slide at the pool, and more.  Thanks for a great trip Buby and Buster!

I have hardly taken any pictures in July.  I even forgot to take my real camera on our vacation to Utah!

Isaac loves to crawl into things.  Here he is in a toy bucket.

He also thinks it is very funny to relax in this chair on the floor.  He is so much fun.

Here he is caught turning on the tub and playing with the toilet brush.

He did take a little nap on the plane with his dad.

In Utah, Zev loved snuggling with his Uncle Oren.

We all got to go out for Tova and Brad's anniversary dinner.  They have been married for 15 years!

Oren and Harper fell asleep on the couch together.

Isaac was into EVERYTHING in Park City.  His Buby and Buster's house is not baby proofed and has glass everywhere.  He was really keeping me on my toes.  Here he is playing in an empty drawer.

More snuggling while watching everyone's favorite show, Scooby Doo.

Here is Isaac eating his first ice cream.  As you can see from his face, he was a fan.

We did a lot of swimming.  Zev and Tahl both went down the big slide this year.  This was the only picture I took at the pool though.  Probably because it was the only time I wasn't trying to keep Isaac from killing himself! He had a relaxing nap in my lap at the pool, which was the only time he was still.

This is Zev at the airport.  He wanted a picture of his Goofy face painting before we took it off.  Oren is still the world's best face painter.

Though you can't see him, Tahl did come on our trip, and he had a great time. I somehow got no pictures of him. Hopefully on our next trip, I'll remember my real camera!

Camp

Here are just a few pictures of the boys at camp over the past few weeks. Here is Tahl having a swimming lesson. He is doing really well.

Tahl with his favorite counselor, Hannah Banana playing some sort of game.

T making some sort of goo in science.

T just relaxing and reading.

Here is Tahli singing and dancing.

playing animals with a friend.

Zev's camp had a color war. Here he is dressed in all the red we could find.  He even spray painted his hair red after swimming.

He had a sleep over at camp last week.  Here he is with his table eating dinner.

I was nervous to let him go, but he swears he had a good time.  He said he was asleep before the movie was over.  His favorite part was shining his flashlight up on the disco ball to make it look like a party, which happens to be captured in this picture.

I'm glad I didn't have to spend the night with all this craziness!

4th of July!

We went to the zoo on the morning of the 4th of July.

One of the first things we happened to see was the bald eagle.  Perfect for the 4th!

The boys wanted their picture with the tortoise statue and the real tortoise.

Isaac just loves to see himself in a picture.

I took these trying to kill time while we were waiting at the cheetah encounter. The zoo has a cheetah that lives with his best friend, a black lab, that they walk out so you can meet them.

Isaac loved playing in the water at the zoo.

How cute is he?

We even got to ride the ponies with no line.

Isaac had to change into something dry.

He didn't make it out of the zoo without a little nap though.

We wanted to go home and let this poor little guy rest, but we couldn't leave without first riding the merry-go-round. The first time we went in the nest.

I did a really good job spinning us.

Tahl makes the best faces.

He actually loved it, but he does look stressed here.

The second time, they just picked animals to ride.

Tahl wanted to ride the giraffe so bad; he didn't even care that it didn't go up and down.
Maybe that was a good thing after his time on the nest.

We went home so Isaac could nap while the rest of us went swimming.  Zev was dressed perfectly.
We did some poppers and sparkler before bed, but I was too busy having fun to take any pictures.  Maybe next year the guys will be ready to go see fireworks and stay up late.
