snow!

The kids were so excited to see snow. We went out to play and take some pictures.

These people are crazy.

Zev made this tiny snowman filled with leaves.

This is Texas snow when you are also stomping in puddles as it melts.

Zev's snowman the next day.

Not much to do...

We had a very boring January.  We did spend quite a bit of time playing on our new swing though.

Maya loves to take a bath.  She will play in there for as long as I will let her.

This is a picture of Zev and Tahl taking over Maya's counting and pattern bears. They were some sort of wizard bears having a war.

We went to the zoo to get out of the house on a beautiful day.  We had lots of fun watching two toddler gorillas.

We decided Maya was big enough for a big girl bed.  It was a very rough transition.

She sure looks cute in it though.  I may have cried when we got rid of the crib and the rocking chair.

We have rearranged the room a couple times now, but here is what it looked like at first. In this picture you can see letters I have hidden around the room. She loves to hunt for the letters.

Here she is naming them.  I have never met a two year old who liked to talk about the alphabet more.  She knows all the letters and sounds, and she loves to sing about them all day long.

Here are Maya and Tahl pretending to take. nap together.

She likes to pick out her hair clips. This day had a fruit theme. She believes more is better when it comes to clips.

She keeps napping on the floor because she can get out of bed now.

I looked away for five minutes and got this. You'd think I was new to letting toddlers use markers.

This is when Maya and I went to the park after a rainy day.  She was looking for worms and was so excited to find one.

More playing on the swing.... She loves to play there with brothers every day after school.
