Teeth!

Zev lost his first tooth this past Sunday morning.  He was so excited when he woke up.

He was planning for the tooth fairy to visit him all day. When she did, he though she forgot him because she left his tooth.

He found a note though saying that she was leaving the tooth for his mom, and that he was getting a bonus dollar for his first tooth.  He was pretty happy about that.

He says he will never spend her glittery dollars.

Here he is showing off his crazy hair that he wanted with his missing tooth.  He is one big guy.

He took a little selfie later in the day.  His mohawk is starting to curl...

In other tooth related news, my sweet baby got his first two teeth on the bottom.  I was trying to get a picture of them.

He really did not appreciate it.

This is how I feel about both of these boys growing up so fast.
Slow down little boys!

Christmas

We started celebrating Christmas on the 23rd with my mom.

Tahl got a set with talking mommy and baby piggies that he loved from his Mimi.

It even came with clothes for the mommy pig.

Isaac got some books, but he really loved the wrapping paper most of all.

Tahl was helping him unwrap his presents.

Here he is actually looking at Mimi taking the picture.

Zev got a Baymax shirt from his Mimi that he loved.

Plus a Baymax and a minion doll.  He has all new sleeping companions.

Mimi gave Tahl this blanket with a hood on it.  He says it is an octopus because that is what the thought the blond hair was, octopus legs. He has been using it every day.
Everyone loved their presents from Mimi.

The next morning, Zev wanted Santa Claus string cheese.  I had decorated all the string cheeses for his school party to look like snowmen, so he wanted to keep the tradition going.

He needed a picture the the Rudolph.  We were really in the Christmas spirit.

When we got to Tyler, Isaac got to meet Uncle Mike for the first time.

He was pretty happy about it.

That night in Tyler we went to Rosemary's for our annual Christmas eve visit.

Isaac spent some time playing with Grandpa.

He also got to play with his GG.

They had a lot of fun together.

We went back home to go to bed.  Then the guys got up bright and early to see what Santa had brought them.

This is Tahl's section.  He asked Santa for an Octonaut Gup, a Sofia the First dress, and an amulet.

Zev asked for an Octonaut Gup and a new science kit.  He also got a robe, a game, and a minion sticker book as a surprise from Santa.

Isaac got a game and a shape sorter.

Santa had eating the cookies, given the carrots to his reindeer, and even written a little note back to the boys.

The guys were hanging out in the living room until they were allowed to go see what they got.

Zev was the first one in.

Everyone was pretty happy with their presents.

Here is Isaac checking his out with his Pops.

Tahl got some new Frozen underwear.

Zev put his robe right on.

Tahl got his dress on pretty quickly too.

Then he was helping Isaac open his presents.

Zev and Tahl got some pretty great stuff from Pops and Gram too.

Tahl was really excited to get lots of new figures.

Izzy got a farm from Pops and Gram.

We went over to Aunt Lisa's for a Christmas breakfast.  Tahl wanted to wear his dress to show everyone.

Isaac got to play with his GG again.

Zev got snap circuits from his GG and Grandpa that he said was his favorite gift all Christmas.

He's been playing it a ton, and he is really good at it.

Isaac got to play with Uncle Mike again. He loved the musical tie that his Aunt Madi gave him.

Later that night, everyone came to my dad's house for a Christmas dinner.  Tahl took some more time to show off his beautiful new dress.

We had a great time in Tyler as always. It is so fun to be able to spend the holidays with a family that we love to hang out with.
