Haircuts and Hanukkah!

The week after Christmas was a busy one.  The first thing we did after getting back to Dallas was to finally get all three guys hair cuts.  I will say that this guy definitely needed one!

Here is Isaac after his cut.

And Zevi.

Before and after on this kid...

The next day we went to the toy store to return a gift that Tahl loved, but he already had.  He got this amazing stuffed animal.  He named her "Naomi," and she has turned into a very frequent play mate.

The next day we went to Playstreet with friends.  I only got this picture of Isaac because it cracked me up that he was carrying a grocery basket of food, a baby, and a broom all at once.  These are three of his very most favorite things.

Here are our candles for the fifth night of Hanukkah.

Ari wasn't home yet, but here is a family candle light selfie.

On the sixth night of Hanukkah we had Mimi over.

Tahl really needed to try on her glasses.

Tahl got "Team Rocket" figures from Pokemon, and it made his week.  Zev got a "Magic 8 ball" that has been predicting everyone's futures.  Isaac got the best gift of all, pajamas that match his baby.

He loves these!  He's been wearing them all the time now, even during the day. Archie doesn't seem to mind them either.

Christmas!

Before we went to my Dad's house for Christmas Isaac and Tahl spent their last money from Ari's grandma.  They each got a robe while they were on holiday sale at Target.  They were so excited.

Isaac thinks Tahl is the best thing that ever happened to him.

How cute are these two together?

Tahl had to have this robe with the owl head.  Here he is showing it off for the camera.

We drove to Tyler on Christmas Eve.  Zev had already gone down with my dad a day early.  We went out for Asian food on Christmas Eve, and then we came home to leave cookies out for Santa.

Santa was very good to our guys!

He gave Zev just what he asked for: checkers, Mastermind, and a gift card to Barnes and Nobel.

He gave Isaac a baby, a stroller, a car to play on, and a book by one of his favorite authors.

Tahl got his Hatchimal, Lion Guard figures, and a slow loris puppet along with some books.

On Christmas morning, I thought Isaac went to the bathroom, but it turns out he showed back up driving his car from Santa.

Zev told him that he liked it, and Isaac said, "I know.  It is BEAUTIFUL."  I almost died from the cuteness.

After Jacob, Scott, and Madi got there, we went to open gifts.

The boys were so excited to see everything that they got!

Tahl was pretty excited about this one.  I think he liked it more before he opened it.

It was pretty cute like this.  Now that it is all the way out of the shell, it is pretty much just like a Furby.

December Dates

I took each big boy out on their own date in December. Tahl and I went to Santa's Village.  I used to go there when I was a kid.  He had so much fun.  He wanted to take a picture with everything.

Here he is with Mrs. Claus.  Her line is long, but shorter than Santa, and she gives you a cookie.  This was an easy choice for Tahl to make.

Here I am with my guy after we got "Rudolph noses."

Here he is on the saddle.

... with the Cat in the Hat...

This is a dark picture, but he had to have one with this light up dog.

He had to go into the house where you pet the kittens and puppies up for adoption.

Petting a different cat

This guy loves to have his picture made.

Just a little selfie in front of my favorite tree.

Then we went to the petting zoo!

He really liked this sleepy pig.

He got in the igloo.

I'm not sure if this was allowed or not.

We saw Frosty on our way to the car!
Tahl and I had so much fun, and it was in the 60s.

Because this is Texas, the next two nights, it was in the 30s.  Zev and I decided to change our date from Santa's Village to the movies.  We went to see "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" because we both happen to be huge Harry Potter fans.

We LOVED the movie.  Though Zev looks scared in this photo, he can't wait for the next one to come out.
