Isaac's first trip to the zoo!

Before we get to Mr. Izzy's first zoo trip, I have a few pictures of his first play date his friend Zara.  He played with Nicholas when they were both smaller, but this was the boys' first time meeting sweet little Zara.

They spent most of the time sleeping, but I do see lots of playing in their futures.

They weren't so sure about hanging out after a minute or two though.

Here is little Isaac on his first trip to the zoo!

(This is actually Tahli on one of his first trips to the zoo! Apparently I really like to put them in the monkey shirt for the zoo...)

This is a picture of Tahl. He was yelling at the pig, "Mercy Watson! Wake up! Don't you want some toast with butter!"

More of my sweet boy.

Here is Mr. Tahl on the carousel.

Isaac was not that impressed with his first carousel ride.

Tahl wanted to wear this monkey back pack.  He named it "Co Co." It did stop him from running away from us.  I see this in his future at Disney World.
There was a statue of a warthog near here, and Tahl would not stop talking about how he was a statue of an old mean warthog to used be mean and steal people's jewelries.

Here is Tahli checking out the giraffes with his friends.

They played in the jeep too.

When I picked Zev up from school, he came out wearing this.

He won it at school, and in this picture, he is actually showing off how he ate his plum into the same shape as his mohawk.

The mohawk was a recurring them of the day as you can see.  What, don't you eat dinner like this?

Big weekend!

This weekend was Tahl's first time to have soccer. He started off strong.

He liked kicking the ball, and he enjoyed most of the first half of the class where the kids just practice.

He did not do quite as well during the half of the class when the kids were supposed to scrimmage.  He was laying down in the field and even running around and growling at people.

Here he is doing a little cheer with his team.

How cute is that?

Another friend sent me a few pictures.

This makes it look like he was participating, but he was actually just running around in circles being silly.

This face shows it off perfectly.

Here they were practicing going in and out of bounds.

Later that day I took Zev to the Plano Balloon Festival on a date.

We got there and ate corny dogs. Then Zev got to go on a bounce house.

He thought it was pretty fun.

Here we are waiting for the balloons to launch.

He wanted to take a selfie.

Here is the first balloon that took off.

After we watched the balloons Zev wanted to try rock climbing.

He didn't make it too much higher than this, but he tried really hard.

Next we went to get funnel cake! It was a hit.

Yum!

Before we left, we got to see the balloons glow at night.

Sadly, when we left we got lost in the parking lot for almost twenty minutes.  Then on the way home, we got rear ended, but at least we weren't hurt. The car wasn't hurt too badly either.

This is actually from the next morning, but Tahl was too cute to leave out. I found this hat in Ari's closet that someone gave him as joke once, and I think Tahl may have adopted it.

In case you couldn't tell, it says "super cuddle monster."  We do love this little cuddle monster!

My mom bought Zev this fantastic Silly Sentences game.  Here he is playing it in his underwear with Ari.  Tahl got some new frozen books from his Mimi too.
Thanks Mimi for the fun presents!

This week!

After Ari got back in town, and we took the boys to the Children's Garden at the Arboretum over the weekend.  Here is Tahli riding on the ant.

Always a good time on the celery slide.

The guys had fun building a garden too.

Back at home I dressed Isaac in this "Texas" onesie.

He is not the first boy, as you can see, to wear it.  Zev is five months old in his picture.  Tahli is 6 months in his, and Isaac is the youngest at three months.  They are all pretty darn cute though.

Zev's teacher sent me a picture of his creation at school. He looks pretty proud of it.  He has been doing pretty well at school, and he has been so excited that he has been completing his work ribbon.

Zev took about 50 of this identical picture of Isaac.

At Zev's open house, his teacher gave me this.  It is a hemisphere map that he made.  He used a pin to punch out all of the continents, then he painted the circles, and put the countries where he thought they went when copying another map. I'm pretty impressed that he made this in the first month of kindergarten!  His teachers also told me that he would get to stay at Shelton this year! I am so happy and proud of him!

On Friday, Zev had the day off of school.  I took him to an open play session at a gymnastics gym.

He had lots of fun on these swings.

We had lots of fun together!
