Glen Rose, Day 3

We got up again on Sunday and ate a big breakfast. Then we headed back out to Dinosaur Valley State Park. This trip we went to the less popular side, and for long stretches we had this river bed to ourselves. On we way I got lost, and Tahl made me take a picture of this meadow.

When we were trying to catch up with Ari, poor Tahl slipped and got very, very muddy.

So we decided to just wait for Ari playing (and posing) in the river.

How cute is this guy?

These two just love to make up animal games to play in the water.

Here is Tahl post fall. He made a good recovery.

That tiny speck up there is Ari holding Maya.

He took some pictures of them on his hike. (Maya got a little nap in.)

Isaac had some big time fun in the mud.

Zev and I went on a hike when Ari got back. We saw some cool creatures.

Zev wanted a picture at the top of the hill.

These three had lots of fun playing in the water together.

I got a really cute picture of my favorite ALMOST six year old.

We somehow put Maya's swimsuit in the wrong bag, but she still seemed to have plenty of fun.

Glen Rose, Day 2

We got up early on our first full day in Glen Rose to head to Fossil Rim.  It is a drive through animal park.

We enjoyed feeding the animals.

Ari wasn't so sure about this guy.

We were most excited to feed the giraffes!

How pretty is this animal?

Zev got the luckiest.

We enjoyed seeing the cheetah and rhinos too.

Before we knew it, we had seen all the animals. We went to Dinosaur Valley State Park.  Where the first thing we did was see two awesome lizards.

We had fun playing in the river.

It was really cool to see the dinosaur tracks.

I have lots of fun pictures of the kids playing.

Maya loves to play in the mud as much as her big brothers!

We went on a hike up the mountain.

I tried to get a good picture of Tahl and I with the view, but some short guy kept jumping in.

Boys with tracks.

And then they got back in the water to play!

I've never met a person who likes playing with mud more than Zev Lund.

We were tired after our big day, so we headed back to relax at our rental.  After dinner we had a second night of s'mores. That is definitely always a crowd pleaser.

Isaac and I got to snuggle up by the fire and read Harry Potter. It may have been one of my very favorite parts of the weekend.
