Maya is TWO!

I cannot believe that this girl is already TWO!  

She was ready to celebrate as soon as she woke up with streamers and balloons. 

She loved her two shaped pancake. 

When she finished, she got right down and went to open her presents without any reminding. She was ready! 

She got a doll highchair from the Richardsons. 

And some new toy food for her grill and picnic table in the back yard. 

Then she got dressed in the fun birthday girl outfit her Mimi sent her. It was hard to get a good picture, but she sure did look cute.

I was still trying to get a cute picture of her, but no luck. 

Her special birthday lunch was a medley of "foods you can put on your finger" plus some extra favorites (olives, raspberries, crackers, mushrooms, salami with a hole in the middle...) 

Then she took a birthday nap because she is two. After her nap, she got to swim in the big pool with dad. 

Mimi and Craig came to visit her, and they brought her this fun singing puzzle. 

We are all still social distancing, so they sat up at the top of the pool in the shade while they watched the kids swim and chatted. 

After dinner Maya was so excited to blow out her candle.  She is the cutest ever here. 

Then she went to town on some cake.

She is very silly, and we are trying to work to teacher her table manners. 

Getting four kids to look at the camera at once remains a challenge. 

And back to Maya goofing off. 

She has such great role models. 

Overall, stuck at home or not, Maya had a great day. She loves to answer TWO when you ask how old she is, and she has been really putting together longer sentence lately.  She is running faster, jumping with both feet off the ground, and turned her car seat around.  It is official that Maya is not a baby anymore! 

We are truly happy for any day to celebrate this smart, silly, and amazing girl. 

We love you Maya!
