More Winter Break Fun

I let Z paint his own toe nails.  That was a messy mistake that will not be repeated.

Maya has been trying out her new bike.  She's getting better, but she is still not so sure about it.

We went to the park one morning for some fun.

The next day I took the kids to an aquarium in Fort Worth.

You can feed a few of the animals there.

The boys all fed the sting rays.

Even though Maya used to love feeding the sting rays, on this visit she wasn't so sure.  She sat way over by the wall.

I decided that since we were already in Fort Worth we should make a day of it.  We went to the water gardens.

Here we are on the last day of winter break playing at the zoo.

I also got a fun night out to see my friends Ann Marie and Heather.  Ann Marie was in town for just one night from Hawaii.

Christmas!

Here is a picture of Pops reading bedtime books to the kids on Christmas Eve!

I snuck out early on Christmas morning to get pictures of the presents before everyone got there to start opening!

Maya got a new bike!

Isaac got some new legos and a MarioKart race cart.

Tahl got a video game and a new nerf gun.

Here is Zev telling Uncle Jacob about something he opened.

Ari and I turned out a delicious breakfast of grits, egg casserole, fruit and a dutch baby (if we do say so ourselves...)

This is actually a picture from our big Mexican food fiesta on Christmas eve.  Why my dad picked this picture where I'm not looking, I have no idea.

We had so much fun with all of our family here, and we made a big giant meal on Christmas night, but we forgot to take any pictures because we were having so much fun.

December Fun

We had some fun before Christmas, but first Maya got her second (maybe) Covid vaccine.

The next day she had to get a blood draw which went much worse.  She got a donut after for her troubles.

I took the kids to Santa's Village for our last visit.

We made some yummy Christmas cookies.  They were made with all natural food coloring, so that is why they are white, green, and pink.

Maya and Tahl were less interested in designs.

I took the kids to the Christmas exhibit at the arboretum. This guy was conducting the musical tree.

We got to visit all the houses in the Christmas Village, and the kids got to sit in Santa's chair.

The next day we went to the Trinity River Audubon Center with friends. Between us we have twelve kids so it always like a full field trip.

Maya, of course, loved the epic mushrooms we found.

Isaac and Tessa had so much fun talking to each other.

And a picture of Zev hanging half way out a window.
