Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas Eve day!  This morning we watched "The Grinch" and "Scooby Doo Christmas."  Then we made some Santa art.  Zev's is on the left and Tahl's is on the right.  Tahl must have told me at least 10 times today, "I make Santa!"  He was so proud. 

Then the guys ate lunch and took a rest before we went to a Christmas party at a friend's house. The boys played toys, ate tons of snacks, and got candy from "Santa". 

After we got home, we put cookies we made yesterday on a plate for Santa.

We had made reindeer food (that was sadly all that is left after I ate almost all of it...), so we decided to put out some carrots too. 

Here is Tahl eating tetrazzini and green beans. 

Zev thought it was yummy too. 

Zev thought it was very important to put the food right by the chimney where Santa would come out. 

Here he is sampling one of the reindeer's carrots. 

Tahl had to have one too.  Notice Zev's big cheese face. 

Here we are reading books before bed. 

We were reading the Polar Express, and Tahl decided to come down off the bed and get in on the snuggling. 

Tahl likes to snuggle, but he never stays that long. 

Then the guys went to bed, and Santa got to come to our house early. These are Tahl's presents.  He got three books, Magformers, and a Scooby Doo. 

Zev got two books, two LeapPad games, some puzzles, and a bike. 

As you can see, Santa was hungry, and the reindeer were starving. 

Here are everyone's stockings.  Poor Tahl is making do with a dog stocking until we get new ones.  I think he won't mind.  Zev did get his Scooby Doo undies.  I think he will think Santa did a good job!  

We will be sure to take pictures in the morning of the boys seeing their gifts!
