San Diego Zoo

On our third day in San Diego, we went to the zoo.  Tahl had been dreaming of this day for months.  I was pretty excited too.

We got our picture with this lion before we headed off to explore.

Koalas (one of my favorites) were one of the first animals we saw.

We saw some cute mommy and baby cheetahs.

They had the coolest elephant set up I've ever seen. We were able to see where they sleep at night and see a zoo keeper who was doing up keep on the elephants feet.  When they blew a whistle, she switched feet.

We were very excited to see the section with polar bears, reindeer, and an Arctic fox.

Tahl loved seeing the snow leopard too. He even bought a stuffed one to bring home.

Everywhere we go, we love to climb on the statues.

The two look pretty goofy in these masks.

More statue fun.

Tahl wanted to see every single reptile.  He said he couldn't pick his favorite animal because he loved them all too much.

I really enjoyed seeing all the bears, different elephants, and they even had an awesome collection of bugs. After the trip to the zoo, the boys started trying to convince me to move to San Diego!  They just want this zoo to be our regular zoo.  How lucky are the people in San Diego?
