Tahl's birthday party!

Today we had Tahl's birthday party at Play Street Museum.  He has been counting down the days until this party, so he was so happy it was finally here! The location we had the party at is camping themed, so we took that idea and ran with it.

Here is what we had to eat.

Sadly, it was hard to see the fake bugs in the ice of our bug juice.

Tova made me the cutest cards for the party favor bags.

The kids got a flashlight, a compass on a carabiner, and a bug house with fake bugs in it.  They were all a big hit.

We had chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with forest animal cupcake toppers.

We also had some smores mix and acorn cookies for dessert.

Zev and Tahl got right down to business playing while my mom helped me set up.

I love the little camper.  This place is just too cute.

Here is the birthday boy right before his friends all got there.

Here is his friend Holly running over to greet him.

Zev and Tahl had a fun fishing contest.

Isaac had fun trying to play with the water fountain.

Tahl made himself some cupcakes.

He had fun playing with friends.

Here he told me that he and the beaver were both old, so they needed to rock on their porch together.

Daddy got to do some big magformers with Zev.

Isaac did some grocery shopping with Tahl's friends.

He also did some snacking.

Kade got there, and Zev and Tahl were excited to play with him.

They had fun catching some flying balls from the air machine.

Zev and Tahl both wanted to sit by Mimi while they ate snacks.

We got a family picture where Zev looks like a grump.  It wouldn't be a picture of our family if at least one boy wasn't grumpy.

Isaac was more excited than Tahl about everyone singing happy birthday.

Here are a few of Tahl's friends.

Zev, Tahl, and Kade eating cupcakes.

Isaac may have enjoyed his cupcake most of all.

Though Tahl did a pretty good job on his.

Everybody went back to playing.

"Beep! Beep!"
Then it was time to go.  We had so much fun, and we will be eating party leftovers all week.

When we got home, Tahl enjoyed opening up his presents.

Special thanks to Emily for the great fox shirt for Tahl, to my mom for coming early to help me set up, to Ari as always for being the best dad ever, and to all of our friends for helping us celebrate Tahl.
