Over the past few weeks Ari has fixed up our front lawn all on his own.
He started by digging up the ground cover.
He tilled the front.
Even Zev got in on digging and planting.
Here it is after he got some of the plants in.
I love our little tree.
Then after he worked so hard to dig and plant, he had to put in an edge.
We transplanted the bushes in front of the window, and we are hoping they recover, but they aren't looking so great yet. We may end up with a few more new bushes, but we are waiting to see.
This week he hung up the new light fixtures for the front too. We are waiting on new glass for the two windows that are different colors, so we are hoping soon (at least before the baby!) everything will be done. I just wanted to post these on our little blog to document how Ari came home and worked on the yard every day after work, and he did such a great job. He is amazing! He let the boys work with him on the weekends, and they loved it too.
