Pre-K Graduation

Zev has been so, so, so excited for pre-K graduation. He asked for water for pre-k graduates and a towel that is for pre-k graduates all before breakfast this morning.  He has been telling everyone he sees about how he is graduating, and finally tonight it was time for the ceremony.  He started off in the front. He was seated in between two very sweet, patient girls who put up with his wiggling and "accidentally" hitting them during the songs.

Here he is singing the first song.  He was so proud that he knew all the movements.  He is definitely a wiggly guy. He is also the only kid who falls back and has to fix his chair.  (In another song, he wiggled so much he almost fell off the stage, but I didn't catch that one...)

His group moved up to the stage for a few songs.

He loves this tree song.  He has been singing it all year.

He really got into this one.  My mom was laughing so hard, tears were rolling down her face.

Here he is standing up when they called his name to graduate. He seemed very proud.

After the ceremony they showed a little video that might have made me shed a tear or two.  Then it was time for pictures. Here he is with his Mimi.

Tahl wanted in the picture too!

A little family shot

And, of course, Zev wanted one alone with daddy.

Here is Zev with the woman he currently loves most in the world, his teacher Laurel.

Laurel and Connie have helped Zev to have the BEST year. We are so thankful that he ended up in their class. They are patient and loving,  and I think they really know how to bring out the best in kids. Zev has been the luckiest. We are crossing our fingers that Tahl will be just as lucky in a few years.

Now it's time for four weeks of summer with mom before camp starts!
