Tyler

The boys and I went to Tyler last weekend for my grandfather's 80th birthday and a party for my aunt and uncle's marriage.  The first thing I noticed when I got to town was that Grandma and I have the same watch! She just got it for her birthday. I love it.

Here is Tahl showing off all of Grandma's Aggie decor.

Grandma's porch is completely dedicated to Texas A & M! Her front door even plays the Aggie fight song when you open it. Zev and Tahl opened it many times.

Grandma had bought the boys a special treat.  It was delicious!

Zev had some fun snuggling with Grandma.

He really enjoyed their fancy remote controlled easy chair.

On Saturday Zev got to go to the movies with his Great Grandpa while Tahl was napping. He had such a great time.  Grandpa said that once the movie started, he started eating popcorn and never said a word.

Here they are after the movie.  Zev is being an airplane. Grandpa was feeling and looking great for the big 8-0! I have been so lucky to have this amazing man as my grandfather for the past 30 years, and now Zev and Tahl get to be lucky enough to spend time with him too.

Later that afternoon Zev spent some time playing video games with Uncle Jacob.

Tahl was busy petting Mimi's dog Bodie who has been hanging out in Tyler with Scott for a week.

That night we went to the big party. Look at this fun cake that Lisa got. It is birthday/wedding. It was a great party. Everything was delicious.

Here are Grandpa and the happy couple celebrating in all their Aggie glory.

Lisa has an amazing new play kitchen. Tahl had so much fun playing with it.
Tahl loved playing with Aunt Julie.  She kept acting silly after she kissed him, and later I heard him saying to himself, "...when I kiss people, they go CRAZY!" He is too funny.

Zev was busier watching TV.

He was also taking care of these babies, who he named "Connie and Laurel."  He really loves his teachers.

I asked Tahl if he wanted to name his babies "Lori and Shari," but he decided he'd rather name them "Laurel and Connie too."

On Sunday, Mike took these guys out in the back to break rocks.  This is their favorite thing to do with him. Tahl even got a turn this time.

Zev was talking about breaking rocks with Mike all day. He always looks forward to LiLi and Mike's house in Tyler.

Look at that look of love!

These guys were up so late at the party, then they did not fall asleep until the last 30 minutes of the car ride. Tahl woke up within 15 minutes.  He still remains a really bad car sleeper.

Zev on the other hand was too tired to wake up.  He transferred inside and took a nice long nap.
We had a great trip to Tyler, and we can't wait to go back!
