Splash park

Tahl went to the splash park with friends last week. Here they are checking for something they sent floating under the bridge. 

Here he is playing with M and G.

As always, he and Gia like to walk around and hold hands. 

He is an honorary member of their family. 

He even rode down the slide in Gia's lap. 

Then he got braver and went down by himself.

We also got to watch a train go by the splash park. 

Sadly, later that afternoon we realized that Tahl had gotten a LOT of splinters in his feet when he was playing in the wood chips.  We got the biggest two out, and we're hoping the rest will come out on their own. He swears they don't hurt, and they don't look infected, so we are trying to avoid the trauma of removing them all.
