Mexico! (Day 4: Tulum and Yal Ku)

On the next day we drove to Tulum.  The kids had to have a picture of these lizards poking their heads out of the windows in the ruins.

Maya took another nap in the hottest way possible for Ari.

The view was amazing.

Zev was very happy with his choice to visit the ruins.

T and yet another lizard.

The kids loved getting to walk through the wall that protected the city.  They felt like real Mayans.

On our way back to Cancun, we stopped at Yal Ku Lagoon to go swimming and snorkling.

Here are Tahl, Maya, and Ari getting ready to dive in.

Maya was very scared the first day and held onto me the whole time she was using her snorkle at first.  Then she got so she would just hold my hand.  This day she was feeling much more confident besides that she really hated the moss on the rocks.

The big boys did really well.  They did even better in the masks we brought, but the lagoon was weird about them.

Maya loved holding hands and going with her dad.

We had a delicous taco dinner this night, and all the kids discovered just how much they love aguas fresca.
