Last week (or so) of summer!

When we went to the aquarium at Fair Park, I took the boys to play on this statue I used to play on as a kid.

Tahl is the King.

Maya loves to look at fish.

She is also very brave.  She wanted to touch every single thing in the touch tank.  Isaac wouldn't even try.

Tahl was in heaven.

The kids had lots of fun together.

These two are always the cutest though.

Maya LOOOOOVED petting the sting rays.  She literally could not do it enough. I had to hold her back so she didn't fall in.

Isaac was very scared, but after we did it together, he decided to try it on his own.

Zev got his whole shirt wet reaching in to pet the sting rays.

Tahl loved it too, but I never imagined anything else.

He also made friends with a sea turtle.

Maya liked the big tank too.

After the aquarium we went to the Butterfly Discovery Garden.  We liked it a lot more than we thought we would.

They even had a playground in the outdoor garden.

The next day we went to play at the park with friends.

Those friends ended up having Z and T over where they played some with the camera.

And watched a piano concert.

Cute girl on a bike.

Here is Isaac hanging off his bed.

It was finally Tahl's turn to go to Tyler.  Here he is snuggling with Bella, Pops and Gram's dog.

Isaac wanted to shower, but he had already put gel in his hair, so he solved the problem.  He looks pretty cute in a shower cap.

I walked in after Maya's nap one day to find these two playing in bed.

I took the little two to the Perot one day while Ari took the big two to a cool arcade near by.

They had lots of fun playing in the children's section.

In one day we had a playdate with Isaac's best friend and a sleepover with one of Tahl's.  She is in the blue monster mask.

Here is Tahl's friend during a swim. Kids all just love to sit in a bucket.

During our last week of summer I took the big boys to Six Flags. It was a very hot and sweaty day at about 100 degrees.

Zev lost his shoe on the swings. We spent 20 minutes looking all around for and never found it.  We did find a sandal that was two or three sizes too small that had been in a bush for quite some time.  We decided to just use that.  It was pretty funny in hindsight.

We had a fun day, and we bought the boys season passes, so we plan to head back one weekend in October.

On Saturday we went to an event where you make art out of trash.  The kids were asked to make a sculpture that had a function. Tahl made a really cute box turtle (that was a box...)

On Sunday Isaac went to a welcome to kindergarten event!

While we were gone Ari found this girl reading to her baby.  She is really starting to love feeding her baby and pushing it in the stroller.

On Monday I went on a bike ride with three kids, a dog, and a zombie.

Maya is also starting to like playing in her kitchen.  Here she is cooking and stirring something.

We got in one last swim the day before the boys went back to school.
I can't believe that summer is already over!
