Tahl is 8!

Tahl is 8! How do these kids keep growing so fast? I decorated his hall the night before like usual. 

He opened some presents in his pajamas. 

He got an awesome new board game from his Baby and Buster. 

And had an "8" pancake from Chef Ari. 

We took some birthday pictures out front before school. Here he is with one of his favorite presents, Maleficent's staff. 

He is one goofy guy. 

I got one really great picture when he was actually smiling though. 

And then he went back to looking like his dad. 

Here is Isaac with his donut that we picked up to deliver to Tahl's class at school for birthday treats. 

Here is T at recess eating a donut with friends.

Here is Tahl that night blowing out his candles after a dinner of spinach salad with apples and walnuts, mashed potatoes, and pork chops, all his request. 

The next day Tahl had a birthday party with some friends at the Dallas World Aquarium. 

Here they all are underneath the sloth in the tree. 

They loved watching the giant otters swim. 

And looking at all the fish.

We had a great time, and Tahl loved his little party. 

Tahl is a sweet and passionate guy who loves animals, villains, dragons, and all things magic (especially magic animals!) Tahl is intelligent and thoughtful, and hopefully he learns to use all his brain power for good!
