Shabbat

Isaac's class was leading Shabbat again.  It was so fun to go see him now that he is more comfortable at the school.  He wasn't nervous at all like last time when he didn't want to go up front.

The class leading Shabbat gets to collect tzedakah from all the other kids.  Here is Isaac collecting.

Maya was ready to ignore Isaac and play on the floor.

Here is Isaac. He did great!

He sang nice and loudly.

His teacher fixed his yarmulke.

Blessing the wine

Here is Isaac singing with his friends.

Each time the main class gets to do a special song that only they practice.  Isaac was lucky because he happens to have been singing this one at the JCC for years.

Afterward he had a great time dancing.  Here he is with some friends dancing to his favorite song currently which is "Od Yavo Shalom."  We have even bought it on iTunes. He can't get enough.  (I actually have fun memories of dancing with my friends in Israel to this song on a mountain in the desert, so we both love it!)

Isaac found his best friend, Josie, for some more dancing.

He is really loving his new school, and he is trying hard to be a listener even when he doesn't want to do something.  We are really proud of him.

Here are two more pictures of Maya I snuck in eating some baby food after we got home from Shabbat. She's just too cute not to include her.
