Vests and Zev, the photographer...

Karen sent Zev and Tahl new vests, which they loved.  (Thanks Buby!) Here is Tahl wearing his sans pants.

Zevi posing.

My mom though Tahl was wearing a tomato costume in this picture.

Zev often gives Tahl hugs that are a little too tight.  We've been practicing gentler hugs.

Here we have a nice gentle hug, and the boys looking cute with pants and shirts under their vests.

Zev wanted to take pictures of me.  This was his first attempt of the day.  He was very proud of it.

I was more proud of this one.

This one was Zev's favorite because "he even got the laundry basket!"  No worries that I was headless...

We went to the zoo over the weekend, and Zev insisted on wearing his zoo keeper costume.
We don't have a picture of Tahl on the horse because though he insisted he wanted to ride it, he changed his mind when he got up close.  He told me, "He too big. I scary-ed."  It was so cute, I almost melted.

Zev was excited to ride the dinosaur on the carousel.  He kept turning around and yelling, "Cheese!" So, I had to take his picture.  Tahl was channeling his cousin Ava on the bench.

Zev had a busy week, so he even took a nap today!  First one in weeks!  (That's why I got two blog posts out in one day.)

Baby Holden!

Emily came to visit us, and I finally got to meet sweet baby Holden.  I was so excited.  Tahl was excited too, and he begged to hold him.

You can't tell much from his neutral face, but he was asking over and over to hold him.  When I took him back, Tahl cried.

He wanted to hold him longer.

He kept saying, of course, "He has paci!" Tahl didn't take his paci once, and in fact, he kept trying to give it back when it fell out.

Zev wanted to hold Holden and have his picture made also.

We had to bribe Grey to get up in the picture, and then he didn't want the candy he was promised to get in the picture. Zev isn't the sturdiest baby holder, but he was trying really hard.

I love this picture because you can see Tahl panicking over the many flashes, Zev's purposely mismatched socks, and then, of course, Grey is actually looking.

I got this one a second too late, but Tahl and Grey were laying on the floor playing cars together.

Sweet Holden took a nap on me, and I wanted Emily to take a picture of the first day we met each other.

Here is his sweet face up close.

Tahl is busy carrying around all of Zev's special babies.

Tahl was sitting on the back of the couch looking at the baby.  He wanted to tickle him, and instead we took more pictures.

Emily and Grey had fun playing toys too.
Zev was good at sharing with Grey.  He wanted him to play in his room, and he brought out his blocks for them to share.  We had lots of fun.

Museum with friends

We went to the Perot again this week with friends.  Here is my friend Heather flying.

Najah and her baby Anthony tried it too.

Zev loved flying. He was flapping his wings like a pro.  When you wear the 3D glasses, it looks like you are the bird flying on a screen in front of you.

I almost made myself sick leaning forward and backward to make the bird go up and down.

In the bird area you can also make your own bird which Zev loves to do.  I believe this one was named Majestic Jay.

We played in the kids area.

As usual the water table was a big favorite.  Tahl likes to drive the boats.

Here is Tahl with his friend Ethan.

Tahl got water EVERYWHERE.  He is not so good at keeping it inside the table.

I was trying to show the guys how to hook up the tubes so the water flows different ways.

Heather's baby Parker even got to play a little.

Here are Tahl and Parker riding together.

This is later that night in his jammies.  Tahl found Zev's "winter hat" (as Zev calls it.)  Zev not only shared it with him, but also said he looked cute!

21 months!

Tahl was 21 months yesterday. We went to the Perot Museum to celebrate (or just because we wanted to,) but we didn't take any pictures. Tahl has been much happier again this month.  He is so hilarious and so much fun.  He LOVES to dance.  He has so much fun dancing with Zev and I all the time in the kitchen.  Tahl also still loves animals, reading, playing with toys, and eating.  He thinks he loves Scooby Doo just like Zev.  His favorite is actually Daphne. He cries when she isn't in the episode, and he loves to carry around her toy and hug and kiss her.  She was lost for a week or two, and when we finally found her, he was so excited.  Zev made him promise to hold her with two hands on this walk.
I know I say this every month, but Tahl talks more than you can imagine. He has lots to say, and he is so funny. He speaks up to 6 word sentences and surprises me with what he says every day. Everyone loves him everywhere we go. He loves to hug and kiss everyone.

January so far

I haven't posted much this month or really remembered to take pictures either.  I will have to work on it.

Here is Tahl at the Perot Museum.

Here is Tahl playing with another friend.

Zev was very into the blocks as usual.

Tahl was helping by pushing the conveyor belt.

Zev and Oren getting ready to build.

Tahl doing the tunnel.

and a little shopping...

Tahl and Ari were hanging out in the tent.

 Come on Dad!

Here are Zev and Oren playing toys.

Zev really wanted me to take a picture of this puzzle when he had finished it.

Another thing Zev built that he was proud of.

Last weekend, my cousin Ashlyn got married. Ari and I went to the wedding and had so much fun. Here is a picture of Sean (Jacob's girlfriend), me, my Aunt Julie, my cousin Keaton, and my Aunt Lisa.

Julie, me, and Lisa.  Love these aunts!

my dad and I

Ari and I with my dad and Stacy

This is me and Steve, actually the morning of the wedding.

Madi (with pretty hair) and me right before the wedding. We had lots of fun at the reception.

Back home the next day. Tahli snuggling in bed with Ari.

When Zev goes to school, Tahl just has to snuggle up with his Goofys.
I'm going to try to do better on the pictures this week!
