Winter Break Fun!

During winter break the boys were home from school with me for two full weeks.  We had time to do lots of fun things.  

On the first day, we baked some fun holiday cookies. 

On day two, we went to the zoo. 

We got to feed the birds. 

And ride the pony.

Isaac wanted his picture made too. 

This was actually before he got his own vacuum for his great grandparents.  It really was a great gift for him. 

We went on longs walks and climbed trees. 

Isaac and I accidentally matched each other (on more than one occasion...) 

Tahl and Isaac took a super fun bubble bath together on Christmas Eve. 

Isaac was a very big fan of his first bubble bath. 

The week after Christmas, we got up early to go to member hours at the Perot. 

Zev had to do push ups before his big race again.

Isaac wanted to touch all the buttons. 

And pick up every display phone to talk to his Mimi.

Tahl was looking good in his dog hat. 

We got to fly like a bird. 

Isaac loves driving the big blue truck. 

He also loves to splash. 

Before we left, I got a cute picture of the boys. 

Tahl returned a duplicate Christmas gift and got this remote control snake.  He then tired of it within ten minutes, (like I told him he would.)  He has now returned it and owns a remote control skate boarding puppy.  

We had a play date with friends, and Zev's friend challenged him to a game of chess. 

Isaac and his friend were pushing each other around in the toy stroller. 

Tahl also used a store credit to get a new puppet sloth.

His name is Sammy, and Tahl is in love. 

Isaac continued his run of cleaning, now in just a diaper. 

Other highlights of winter break included the movies with Mimi and Wanda, watching all three original Star Wars movies, reading lots of books, and playing lots of new board games. I'm almost sad for everyone to go back to school!
