Cousins!

Karen, Gregg, Rachel, Zach, Ava, and Ellie came in town for a wedding last weekend.  The boys were so excited to get lots of time to play with their cousins.

Lucky for us, it was the one day that was 70 degrees, so we got to spend lots of time outside.

Ellie loved the slide.

Ava really liked it too.

Ava was not so sure though about sharing the toys with Ellie.

Ava and Tahl played really well together.  They are both just a little bossy, but they had so much fun cooking and making birthday parties together.

They also played doctor together and fixed up our sick Rody.

Here is Z posing with Ellie.

This was the best one I got of he and Ava.  Oh well, I tried a lot of times.

We went outside to go for a walk and play chalk.

Sweet Ellie got very dirty.

Zev, as usual, continues his quest to decorate the entire mail box.

Ava tried to fit the rake into it.

We went on a walk to collect leaves.

After which they all came back to try to stick the leaves and "mini coconuts" they found in the mail box.

After all our time outside, we had worked up a big appetite.

The next morning, we took everyone to see the Perot Museum. Ava got to make a bird with Zev.

We played a lot in the kid's area.

Everyone loves to move the blocks up and then drop them down.

Tahl was so excited that he can finally turn the wheel.

Ava and I built a building together.

Tahl  got lots of time at the water table with his Buster.

Zev played in his favorite part.

He did let Ava join him over there too.

Zev and Ava also played "delivery truck" together nicely and took turns.

Just showing her the sights.

Zev had good behavior at the museum and earned a donut.  I was excited to try a "cronut," so we went to a new donut shop near us.  We were not disappointed, and we will be going back for more cronuts and more of their fun colorful donuts.

Sadly, on Sunday, the last morning with his cousins, poor Tahl fell and busted his lip.  Look how swollen it was!
These guys had such a great time with everyone, and they can't wait to see them again when we go to Mississippi in two weeks.
