REAL SNOW

Isaac came out one morning with blankets in his pants. He was trying to get me to look at his big leg muscles.

Ari got to go to Atlanta for Jaren's bat mitzvah. They had pictures of all of the missing family members on the chairs.  Ari said it was the nicest little bat mitzvah ever.

While he was gone it started to snow. It was actual (not Texas level) snow.  We got several inches for several days in a row. It actually got down to -15 degrees here!

Ari brought home some super fun matching shirts and tie-dye socks as bar mitzvah swag for the kids.

We made some Valentine's Day and Mickey Mouse cookies.

And Ari brought me these beautiful flowers from the bat mitzvah.  They are definitely the nicest Valentine's Day flowers I've ever gotten.

The kids got an entire week off of school due to the weather.

They had lots of fun playing in all the snow. We were lucky enough to have electricity when many people around us did not.

We did not exactly have the correct clothes for the weather though as you can see by Isaac's Wild Kratt costume gloves.

We just played for short times though, and we still had lots of fun.

Even Dixie joined in.

The best part about going back in is hot cocoa and warm baths.
