Spring break!

On the first morning of spring break the boys and I decided to go to the arboretum even though it was a little big rainy.

We almost had the whole place to ourselves.

We had a lot of time to make funny faces for the camera.

They had to have pictures in front of the special flower power display.

As much as they fight, these two guys sure do love each other.

Then we went to get our faces painted. The line is usually forty five minutes long, but we were the first ones there! Tahl got a white tiger for the third time in a row.

Isaac picked out a pink butterfly.  When he saw himself he said, "I look FANTASTIC!" He was so happy.

Zev wanted to be a zombie, and he ended up a pretty creepy skull.

We went to the petting zoo to pet and brush the animals next.

Cheese!

We did the Children's Garden next, and the boys enjoyed the wind tunnel.

Sadly, this guy did not end his day on a high note. I tried really hard not to giggle, I promise.

His week got a lot better though because he and Ari traveled to Park City.  Karen and Gregg paid for Zev to go to ski lessons for three days, and he had an amazing time. We are so lucky to have grandparents who fly Zev to town to spend time with him and help his dreams come true.

The two boys and I stayed behind and had some fun too.

We had a great play date with Maddie and Ella at Play Date Company.

We had a lot of fun at our friend King's fourth birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese.

Isaac had never been to Chuck E. Cheese since he was old enough to play games.  He is still talking about it.

On the last day of spring break, I told the guys to the zoo to check out the baby elephant.

I don't have a picture, but I can't talk about that trip to the zoo and not mention that Tahl was peed on by a lion.  We were watching the training show when the lion decided to let loose on the front row.  Tahl was a little grossed out, but he handled it well.  Isaac and I thought it was pretty funny.

We never head out with out a carousel ride or two.

Overall, we had a very fun spring break, and we are looking forward to summer vacation!
