Texas State Fair

We went to the state fair on Tuesday, but it was so rainy I didn't bring my nice camera.

We didn't get as many pictures as normal, but we did get some on the rides. 

Zev and Tahl really liked this "Dumbo" ride.  

As you can see, it was just a little wet. 

Next they went on the bears (which were sort of like the Disney tea cups.)

I knew they would love it because they love the nest at the zoo, which is also similar. 

We are a family who loves to spin. 

Here they are climbing out. I think they were a little dizzy. 

Zev rodeo on this roller coaster ALONE! 

I was so excited for him, but then I started to feel a little nervous when they didn't buckle him...

Look how high up he is! 

When he got off, he said he had a great time.  He also said, "The down parts are the fastest and scariest parts!"  I think he learned an important lesson about roller coasters. 

Tahl rode on these airplanes alone.  They really went pretty fast. 

He really liked it, and he wished we would let him go again. 

On our way out of the fair, it started to rain really hard.  This is what the guys looked like. 

This little pig said he was still hungry on the way out, and he had his own hot dog. 

Hopefully next year we will find a day to go to the fair in the sun.  It was still worth it though to eat a corny dog, ride rides, and pet a zebra.
