We went to the Dallas Arboretum Children's Adventure Garden with mom and Kade today. We had so much fun.
I am a little jealous of how photogenic Kade is. What a cutie.
I tried to get a picture of all three boys looking at me, but Zev had to have a pumpkin on his head.
All three are at least looking!
Kade is actually smiling (again), Tahl is really badly faking, and Zev is actually smiling while looking at a stranger's camera. Oy.
In this one I promised them ice cream to all look at me. (We all forgot by the time we went home. Whoops.)
Then we walked over to the children's garden.
Tahl walked with Mimi while I pushed the two four year olds in the stroller.
I think we saw at least 30 butterflies and just as many bees. The guys were definitely more excited about the butterflies.
Zev enjoyed learning about the foods that are good for your energy and brain power.
Then each guy had fun going down the celery slide.
Tahl was a little less brave about it today.
... and riding in the pea boat...
I started helping Tahl make this fruit face, but then he wanted to do it on his own.
We discovered a new garden today that we really loved. It was a really tall maze. This was a "sword in the stone" that reflected a secret message.
The message led us to this little fairy village.
We really loved this floor that made noise.
Here they were watching a short clip of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. Zev told me, "when that many butterflies fly away; it's so beautiful it just kills me."
Here my mom is trying to teach them about fossils.
They were working really well together today. Here they were making it rain.
They went in the wind machine again.
It was definitely just as fun the second time.
This is what Tahl would look like without curls!
All the guys definitely still loved this water area.
They were busy turning and pumping.
Look at that sweet face.
Tahl was just hugging on Kade.
Taking turns shooting to make the water fixtures move.
As always, the guys love climbing on the tree house.
This is the highest Tahl has ever gotten.
How sweet are they holding hands.
We took a lunch break.
Look how hot Tahl is! At one point, while eating his sandwich, mom and I heard him start singing. I listened carefully and realized he was singing, "It's a small world after all..."
After lunch we played a few more minutes in the little kid area.
The guys were having fun riding around.
Zev was busy digging.
Tahl and Kade decided to join in.
They are quite the little team when they decide to be. Though, they often choose to use their powers for evil.
On the way home, Kade told my mom how "awesome" and "fun" it was at the arboretum. In fact, Ari and I are taking the two boys back tomorrow morning. They really want to show it to Ari and we got a coupon to get in free tomorrow. I'm just going to have fun though and leave my camera at home!
