Just another week...

Last week in the park Tahl was using this stick to pretend he was a grandpa.

For about 20 minutes he called himself Grandpa.  "Grandpa wants to swing. Grandpa doesn't want to go down the slide." He was too funny.

This was all him, but in the video, I do tell him to walk like grandpa just to show me on the camera.

Here are the guys doing a science experiment on Wednesday.  Tahl was so excited to be included.

We made dancing raisins, put colorful vinegar in baking soda, and we made food coloring fireworks in milk.  It was a fun afternoon.

The weather was great last week, so we have been able to take lots of bike rides around the block.

Here is a little video of some of Tahl's crazy dancing.  He is the silliest kid, and he REALLY loves to dance.

Tahl has started gymnastics.  He loves it, and he is getting a little better at listening each time he goes. He is definitely the most spirited kid in the class, but he loves what he is doing.

On Friday Tahl and I went to the fair with my dad, Stacy, Scott, and Madi.  Tahl had fun "driving" the cars with Aunt Madi.

I had the door open, and he told me to "shut the door."  He then proceeded to touch every button in the car.

He REALLY liked the convertible.

He also loved all the food.  His favorite was the "pony dog." (corny dog) He also loved fried cheese curds, funnel cake, sausage wrapped in bacon, and just about everything he tried. What's not to love at the fried food capital?  I bought fried PBJ just for him, and it did not disappoint.

I got to ride two rides with my family, which I haven't done in years.  While I was off riding, Pops let Tahl ride two different things. He rode the tractors first.

Pops took a little video of him on each ride.

After that he rode the race cars. I was so impressed that he did it all by himself!

I got off the ride in time to see him ride the second ride.  He was so busy pushing buttons, he hardly looked up at us when we called his name.

After my family went home, Tahl and I went to the see the pig races. Then we went over to the petting zoo. Here is Tahl feeding a goat.

He also let this giant guy lick food right out of his hand. He was having a very brave day.

He fell asleep on the car ride home, and then he ended up staying up late.  My mom took this video of him singing "Yo Ho."

Tahl has been really obsessed with this doll, "Baby Lulu." He likes to take her all over, including here to the library.  He sings her songs, kisses her, and tickles her.

Saturday night we went out to dinner with friends.  The restaurant gave the kids their own table.  They were too cute eating together.
We did go to the arboretum again on Sunday, but as promised I did not take any photos. I was too busy having fun!
