Early August

The first week of August, I took the big guys only to the library during Isaac's nap one day.  There just happened to be the most amazing balloon artist there.

How cool is this spider?

Zev was pretty happy with his weapon too.

I took the boys to the zoo for some fun.

They always love a good crocodile rescue.

They had lots of fun in the water.

When we got home, everyone had a big bubble bath.

How cute are these three in the tub?

The tub was fun while it lasted, but I needed a towel or two to clean up the aftermath...

July fun!

We had lots of fun in the rest of July.  Here at the boys at camp before the big color war.  They both lost, but Zev's group came in second.

We went to see Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters one weekend.

We love this book, so we were excited to see the play.

As usual, these guys love to meet the stars of the play for autographs afterward.

Isaac got to spend the weekend in Tyler with Pops and Gram all by himself!  He was so proud.

We got a few pictures from Oren's wedding in June.

The junior groomsmen and bridesmaids...

The ring bearers...

This is a picture of poor Dixie I took when she was having a "sleepover" in Tahl's room.  The poor girl was forced to wear this hat.

The boys passed out the programs at my cousin Meredith's wedding, but of course, I forgot to get a picture of everyone all dressed up. I got this cute guy though.

We got a new board game we have been playing lots.  Life reminds me of my childhood, so I love to play it with them.

Just a little selfie of us in the car.

Here is Isaac having a great time at Play Date Co.

This is a picture that Tahl drew for Ari. Some of us may have a few too many fingers.

Beau and Isaac were giving each other hugs in their matching outfits; so I had to take a picture.

Here are two snuggly guys.

And then you add in another, and it just gets crazy...

Happy 4th of July!

For the Fourth of July we went in the morning to a neighborhood HOA parade.

The first thing we did was get our faces painted.

How cute is this guy?

The boys rode in the parade on their scooters behind a fire truck.

We started out at our elementary school and made a big loop.

Zev was looking pretty cool in his patriotic shirt and shades.

Here we are in a quick family selfie.  The boys are enjoying their food coloring free shaved ice (also known as just ice...)

They had a great time touring the fire truck.  I think Isaac went in three separate times.

We had to take a picture on the front.

After the parade, we came home for Isaac to take a nap.  After nap time, we had another family over to swim, play, and eat hot dogs.  The boys had so much fun with their friends, but I didn't get a lot of pictures.

I love the fourth of July.  I really love any holiday that is about being with your family and having fun without all the pressure of presents, etc. The boys had a great day, and we are continuing to have a fun summer!

The rest of June...

After Isaac's birthday, they celebrated him again on Friday at school.

He loved sharing his birthday boy status with his friend.

That Friday afternoon we had some fun out by the pool.

The big boys made some sort of secret potion.

Zev and Tahl both stayed the night at the JCC for their camp sleep overs.  Tahl was nervous, and he called thinking about coming home, but he decided to stay.

I got to go on a girls weekend with Katy and Heather.  I have been friends with these two ladies since Zev was two months old, so it was really fun to just hang out and relax together.

Isaac got a little sick, and he stayed home from camp one day.  I had a quick doctor's appointment, and I left him home with Iris.  This was the text that I got from her.  At least Dixie was keeping this poor sick guy better company than I was.

Here is a picture from camp of Zev at Hawaiian Falls water park.

We went to a birthday party where one of our friend's dad dressed up as the Blue Power Ranger.

Not only did the boys have a great time at the party, they had a great time jumping and playing with a "power ranger."  Not one of our boys knew what a Power Ranger was before the party, but that did not stop them from being impressed.

June has been a fun month with lots of activities and camp.  We love summer!
