Trunk or Treat!

This weekend we took the boys to trunk or treat at the church where I go to MOPS.

Tahl was so excited to be a minion!

If only Zev was looking...

He is ducking down in this one to be more like a minion.

He told me now he was the same height as a 2 and a half year old.

How cute is this guy?

As cute as this?

How cute is this one too?  When I was trying to take his picture, Zev kept running by screaming "photo bomb!"

Before the trunk or treat, we participated in a walk and fund raiser for HEROES, a camp for kids with disabilities. Here they are playing water beads.

There were sensory buckets.

This guy also had a little too much fun in the shaving cream...

I had to wash his hands in the water fountain...

Then he got his hands painted though.

It started off as a banana, but he kept making the girl add more colors in spots...

Zev loved this area where he could walk on all the packing bubbles.

The boys played in the bounce houses some, and then it was time for the trunk or treating.

There is a guy in here! He was the "Great Pumpkin!"

Tahl was a little less sure about it.

Everyone LOVED the guys' costumes.

They loved getting candy.

Here they are after.  I promised Zev a piece of candy for a smile.

I swear Tahl had fun...

When we left, we took the hungry minions to Chipolte, of course.

The forecast around here is calling for rain on Halloween.  I hope it doesn't rain, but if it doesn't at least these guys already have a TON of candy.

Tahl at school...

Finally a few more pictures of Tahl at school!

He was busy sliding around on these things.

The caption Tahl's teachers put on this picture was that he stopped for a dance break with his friend. That does sound just like him.

Here he is eating fruit to celebrate his teacher's birthday.

Playing airplane

play doh!

music

It looks like he is enjoying his time with the ribbons.

Tahl is taking a picture of the person taking his picture!

The kids did this puzzle together.  They were really proud.

Heritage Farm

Today Zev took the day off of school to go to the farm with Tahl and I. The guys were supposed to wear their costumes and go trick or treating.  I didn't want them to get their real costumes muddy, so they wore their favorite back up costumes. Zev chose to be Captain America.

Tahl wore Zev's old dog costume. Here he is feeding the chickens on the farm.

Zev was washing dishes the way they used to do it on the farm.

Tahl was busy getting everyone wet.

After that the guys went bowling for ghost toilet papers rolls and played the bean bag toss game.

Zev was really glad you got to "bob" for apples with a net.  He did not want to stick his head in the water.

Here he is attempting to lasso.

Zev was really sweet to this friend Wil.

Here is Tahl sitting at a desk in the one room school house.

Next the guys got to listen to a Halloween book.

Tahl was really proud of his bat ring.

Next, we got to go on a wagon ride.

Look at these sweet faces during the ride.

Zev took this picture for his teacher because they have been studying transportation. She asked us to send her a picture of him on the wagon ride.

Next the guys got to fish for spider rings.

Zev got to milk the cow.

And pretend to feed the baby cow too.

Of course, Tahl loved to pretend to feed him a bottle.

On the way out, we found a secret path to some rocking chairs we had to try out.

These guys had a really fun morning!

We can't wait to do more trick or treating soon.
