Our week

Here is Zev at school playing in the gym with his friends.

He's really concentrating.

At first I thought he was just grumpy in this one, until I realized that they told him to look angry like Pharaoh.  Some of the other kids pictures are hilarious.

Look at Zev jumping in the pool and not running away!

He still kicks with his eyes closed.

He looks happy swimming though, this was not so much the case with swim lessons this summer.

waiting to jump...

Diving off?

Zev loves to cut.  He always comes home with a million tiny "tickets" that he wants to save.

I was the mystery reader this week.  Zev was so excited to see me.

Here are Ari and Tahl swinging in the back yard. Tahl was concentrating really hard on relaxing back into Ari's lap.

Do you see the dog?  He really blends in on this rug.  I actually ended up picking it up because it was really hard to clean the dog's pee off.

That rug is now picked up too...  That fox is Gus's favorite toy.

I put Zev to sleep in his bed, and when I came back in I found this!

Zev wanted me to take a picture of him with his coat on his head.

Because I was laughing so hard at this guy.  He looks like a little old lady.
We always have fun around here.  This is spring break, so maybe we will have a few more pictures!

Mr. Puppleupagus

We finally agreed last week to get a puppy! I had looked online all over, but the puppies were all not available for months or lived really far away.  My mom check the Dallas Morning News and found this!

Gus!
He is a little smaller than Ari wanted, but I think he will be perfect for us.  He is a mini Australian Labradoodle. He is 8 weeks old.

We looked at the breeder's website.  I talked to them on the phone, and they were actually from Beaumont, but the dog was in Arlington living with a foster family.  We went to visit the litter, and we chose Gus as the best one.

We got home, and he chased the boys all around the front yard.  He isn't quite sure about our house yet though.

He is still doing a lot of crying at night, but during the day he is doing a lot of trouble making.

He has had two accidents so far, and been caught about to pee twice also.

Lucky for him he is ridiculously cute.

He is 6 pounds right now, but he should grow to be about 20 pounds.

Every one loves him!  Kade is giving him snuggles here.  Mimi has already been over to see him 3 or 4 times.

He especially thinks Zev and Tahl are puppies like him. Here he is trying to get Zev.

Hanging out with Tahl

Jackpot!

I think we may end up with a lot of chewed up toys this year.

Hopefully he will teach the boys some new skills like responsibility, patience, and love.  We will also have to be very forgiving when he makes mistakes.

Zev wants to kiss him all the time.

On Sunday we had great weather, and we were trying to spend lots of time outside.  I hid some letters around for Zev to find and work on letter sounds.

The puppy wanted to hunt too.

He found a Y!

Zev wanted to wear his working guy hat for the hunt.

Z!

Tahl had to go get a hat too.

Hopefully we will get lots more pictures coming up of these two cute guys and their new cute dog!

Another week...

We had friends over for a bear hung.  Tahl made a cute bear.

Zev's friends made bears too, and we marched around hunting for bears.

Zev's bear was VERY interesting, but he was very proud of it...

We went to the Perot Museum with Mimi.  Here are Z and T measuring to see which bird they are like.

This guy is ridiculously cute.

Zev made a Majestic Jay bird.  He was really proud.

We had the most fun in the children's area. Zev collected some flowers.

Tahl had lots of fun sorting flowers too.

I think the guys like the water table the best.

Tahl loves to pour.

Tahl ended up very wet.

These guys were really concentrating.

Tahl was very proud when he climbed up on this bench.

The guys love the music instruments outside the museum.

Ding!

Tahl wanted to climb up on this bench too. He ended up all in that a yogurt.

Pops and Gram came and visited with Zev and Tahl on the way to the airport.

The guys were excited to see them, and even more excited to see the Easter candy they brought them.

A smily Pops and a grumpy looking Tahl

Pops made the smile happen!
