Tahl's birthday!

We celebrated Tahl's birthday for days and days.  He had a big party at Urban Air after having no party for two years because of covid.  He had the best day.

His brothers and friends had a great time too.

Maya also celebrated pretty hard.

We had pizza and a double layer cookie cake.

Notice his brand new birthday present from me, a tie dye cookie monster shirt.  I almost died when I found him this most perfect shirt.

Look at this rock star climbing so high!

Here is T with two of his best friends.  He had two boys and seven girls at his party. Notice they are all wearing tie dye.  I feel like that is all fifth graders wear.

I think this guy was Tahl's favorite present.

In the afternoon we went to the school carnival.

Tahl found all his friends again at the carnival.

This kid begged and begged for cotton candy.

The next day, we had all of Tahl's favorite meals since we knew we would be flying to Mexico on his actual birthday.
He asked for donuts, omlets for lunch, and a Chinese food feast for dinner.  Then in Mexico he got a second birthday dinner! What a lucky guy.

Late March/Early April

A new day, a new special balloon to carry around and sleep with.

We went to a Touch a Truck event where Isaac and Maya both got to sit on this motorcycle. Not pictured were the trash trucks, fire trucks, etc.

I did a run with my friends.

Isaac and Maya having a little snuggle time in Zev's hammock chair.

Isaac won student of the month! I was so happy for him.  He won it for the quality of independence which is perfect for him.

Mimi got to come and see him get his award.

We went to meet the teacher night (IN THE BUILDING!) Maya made herself right at home.

Isaac and his wonderful teacher, Mrs. Garcia.

T and Mrs. Pondrom who is one of his three teachers.  T dressed up fancy for open house in tie dye and his suit.

April Fun

Here are some pictures of Zev with his favorite horse, Midnight.  He told me I had to take them for his bar mitzvah slide show.

I finally got to meet Rebecca's new baby, Hannah!

I took Maya to the zoo with friends.  She had lots of fun.

Here she is as a baby dino.

Now she was pretending to be asleep and dreaming about poop.

All four of these kids are in a family where they are one of four and there are tons and tons of boys.  They love to be wild and make potty jokes together.  The moms have given up.

I caught these two holding hands on the way out.  How cute are they?
