Random October

Here are some random photos from throughout the month.

Zev wanted a picture of this because he worked really hard to get Maya onto this piece of equipment at temple. 

They really loved all the butterflies in the temple garden as well. 

Maya woke up from her nap one day with some REALLY CRAZY hair. 

When Maya had school, I got to take just the big kids out hiking with my friends.  It was super fun. 

Here is Tahl trying on a suit for Uncle Scott's wedding.  He is going to be looking good. 

Here is Isaac ready for picture day, also looking quite handsome. 

I took the kids to Six Flags on fair day.  It was ridiculously busy, but we still had fun. 

 

State Fair!

We went to the Texas State Fair with Pops, Gram, and Aunt Madi.  

In this picture you can see Maya's arm hugging poor Isaac very tightly on a little rollercoaster. 

Isaac and Tahl love fun houses. 

Especially when you come out covered in bubbles. 

They also went on the same spooky coaster again. 

Zev, on the other hand, goes for more daring rides. 

Maya begged and begged for this corn. Yum.

Maya loves to pretend to drive. 

This caramel apple was a really big hit for the kids. 

But nothing was a bigger hit for Zev than feeding a baby donkey.  

We all love the baby chicks too. 

Kids had fun at the bird show again, but no one got to be part of it this year.

We got a Dole whip and a cotton candy on the way out. We had a great day with lots of yummy foods. 

 

Paw Patrol! Paw Patrol!

I took Maya with my friend Melissa to the "Paw Patrol Experience."  She was so excited.  On the way there she thought she had forgotten her fire hat, and she begged me to turn around.  Then she found it and was screaming like crazy for me to turn back around again and head to the Lookout. 

It was really cute and well done. 

Maya's favorite dog from the show is a Dalmatian, so she wanted to wear this shirt with spots and her fire hat. 

She was pretending to be the pups sliding out of the lookout. 

Then she would go put out the fires. 

She loved the scooters and stop lights on the street paths. 

Here she is resting in her pup house. 

She had brought two toys from the show in her pockets.  She was covering them with sand and then making me help dig for them. 

She even took home a stuffed Marshall. 

She had the best day ever.
