more pictures!

I am emptying the rest of my pictures off my camera and my phone.

Here are the boys watching Cars 2 at Pop's house.

Madi and I took the boys to the park.

T has decided that he HATES slides now.

Anything bigger than 4 feet high that is.

Zev wanted to ride in my lap though.

He thought about this one, and then he changed his mind...

Zev has gotten much braver though.

He had fun with this one, but he almost killed himself on the thing behind him the in the picture.  I thought he was going to give Madi a heart attack.

Tahl spent a ton of time talking about what all these animals are.

The guys and I were swinging on this swing with a guy who we just met.  Madi thought it was so funny, she had to take our picture.

Here is Tahl playing with his Uncle Scott.

The guys were really excited to break rocks with Uncle Mike!

Boys!  Who knew it was so exciting to break something?

Yeah!

After we got home, Ari found the guys reading a book together in the morning.

I have been trying to get the guys to play games.

We have found just a few that Tahl can play also, one of which is don't break the ice.

This is Tahl as a robot.

Zev climbed inside his tunnel and told me he was a hamster, and this was his hamster wheel.

After a bit of negotiating, he agreed to let Tahl in his hamster wheel.

This is the guys yelling at each other, "tushy! tushy! penis! penis!"

Ari and the boys were planting flowers on Sunday.

Who doesn't love to dig in the dirt?

This last picture is from today.  Tahl kept putting his hands up, and he was telling me, "I a moose!" He made me run all around the kitchen as a moose.  We were trading him taking bites for me acting like a moose.  Good times.

Light it up Blue!

Today, April 2nd, is autism awareness day!  Autism Speaks is encouraging people to "Light it up Blue" for autism awareness. Here are our two best guys wearing blue in support!

Zevi was so proud of his astronaut "Sky's the Limit" shirt. We have talked a lot about how we were celebrating him because he is working so hard lately.  He keeps talking about how he wants to be an astronaut when he grows up because he can do anything, so maybe it's sinking in.

I promised one M&M for this smile. Just a few months ago, even the promise of candy still took quite a while to get a good picture, but Zev has really been following directions and making eye contact better recently. He is also carrying on a conversation better too.

Here he is in support, the "World's BEST brother!" He sits in lots of waiting rooms, and he couldn't love Zev more.

Here is our front porch (with and without flash) "lighting it up blue."

When we put the lights in, Zev just told me (AGAIN) how he wished they were rainbow lights. He doesn't want to light it up blue, but with a rainbow bulb that we saw at Target... maybe next year.

Honestly, we are still waiting on a third opinion for Zev, but what we do know is, that no matter what, he will still be Zev.  We couldn't love him more whatever label he is or isn't given. If he is autistic, it just means he is "different, not less." He is one of the sweetest, smartest, funniest, (most trouble making) kids I've ever had the pleasure to know.

WE LOVE YOU ZEVI!

Happy Easter!

We went to Tyler for Easter again this year, and the Easter bunny came to visit these guys again.

Here is Zev looking like Ari and eating chocolate.

Tahl was so excited that the Easter bunny brought him this Geo doll!  He's been carrying him around for two days now.

Zev got Bot!

Tahl is working on eating one piece of candy at a time.

He makes a bit of a mess.

Here is Zev hanging out with Uncle Scott on the blow up mattress.

Here are the guys eating the delicious lunch Stacy and my Grandma made.  They got to sit with Madi and Julie. Tahl loves creamed corn, rolls, and macaroni.  Zev loves ham, macaroni, and rolls.

This is the loot when it was all mixed up.  These guys got FOUR total Easter baskets. We will have some candy for a while.

I think the best presents these guys got were bunnies from GG and Grandpa.  They are so soft, and each one was personalized with their names on the ear. They love them.  I think I convinced Tahl to name his Fluffy Bunny.  He was named "Flooby, not Scooby, and Rufio" before I hopefully changed his mind.  Zev had Peter Rabbit, but he changed it to Robot Rabbit.

I think Tahl makes the cutest rabbit.

Zev spent some time coloring with Aunt Julie.

Tahl was coloring with Uncle Scott.

This is Tahl telling us all about the lion that is up high on the ceiling.

Next we had about 7 egg hunts.

Zev is definitely faster, but he did try to let Tahl get a few.

Zev searched for eggs a few times, and then he hid them for other people to find.

Tahl was hunting with Aunt Lisa.

Aunt Madi and Gram were helping too.

Tahl got this cute basket from GG too.

The guys had such a fun day.  They got way too much candy, lots of presents, and tons of yummy food. Best of all, they got to spend lots of time with special grandparents, aunts, and uncles.  They are so lucky.
