Zev's first day

Yesterday Zev and I went to meet his teachers.  He got to show me around his classroom.

He was a little nervous that I was going to leave him in there to go to a meeting.

When I came back he was doing some work that was about sinking and floating.  His teacher, Mrs. Moyer said he was great, so hopefully he is off to a good start.

Here he is in bed last night getting ready to rest up for his big day!

He loves to read himself to sleep, and unfortunately he woke up at 2:15 and was up until 5:30 or so.  We caught him reading by night light and then by flash light in the middle of the night.  He was also singing quite loudly. Not the best start, but at least he was in a good mood still when we woke him up this morning.

Both boys got their "first day of school" books today! Tahl was excited to get this book he loves.

Zev was really excited about the sign I made him.

It says:
Zev Lund
1st Day of Kindergarten
My favorite color is: green.
I love robots and minions.
When I grow up I want to be: a rocket ship designer.

I didn't really get him looking with his dad. We were in a bit of a hurry because we let him sleep in.

I tried to get a picture with all three boys.  I have one where Tahl is looking and smiling.

On where the other two are looking and smiling, but Tahl is kissing his schmata. I love that Isaac is smiling.  Zev is holding up one of his first day of school books.  He got a Lego Starwars and Lego movie book.  He also got an "Elephant and Piggie" book.

Notice Zev is switching out books for his poses.

We asked the schmata kisser to leave the picture.

We got a good one of Zev and mom (if you ignore the baby you can see through my hair.)

Ari said Zev was really excited on the way into school.  I am hoping and praying he has a great day and great year.  We love this sweet kindergartner so much, and we just want him to succeed!

Tahl's first day of school!

Today was Tahl's first day of school for the new year!

I went in his room and found him sitting with Mickey!

He wanted his picture with Jolene.
(This is what my pictures looked like when I was three...)

a little better

Zev got up in his bed for a picture.

In my room Tahl decided to do a little "good morning dance."  I took a few pictures since I had my camera handy.

(He put his shirt on backwards last night on purpose.  Also, he picks out his own pajamas...)

He had a yummy bagel for breakfast, and took a quick picture with dad before he left for work!

Then I made him take a few on his own.

I really can't believe that this crazy little guy is already in the three's!

Zev wanted to be in some pictures too.

Sweet brothers

It was actually swimming day at school today, so Tahl changed into his swimsuit before we left. Here he is on his way into class.

We had to turn around to get his schmata, so we were late for school.  His class was already having circle time when we got there.  Here he is with the group.  He was actually getting really nervous, and he didn't want to sit down.  Then his teacher told him that he had a magic carpet square and that it would make him invisible. She must be a three year old genius because it worked like a charm.  He sat right down, and he let me leave with no tears (from either of us).
We love his new teachers and his new classroom, and I know he will have a fantastic year!

Last week

Last week the boys didn't have school, but my phone camera was messed up and I did not get very many pictures.  These are the few I got and was able to save.

Tahl at the dentist.  Our dentist is cooler than your dentist and gives balloon animals.

I got brave, and I took all three boys to the mall.  This is how we travel. (In case you can't tell, I'm wearing Isaac.) I got even braver on Friday, and I took them all to the Perot to see the dinosaur exhibit.

Three guys having tummy time.  Isaac was looking up until right when I took this picture.

He was doing this, I swear.  He was having a great time.

We went to meet Tahl's new teachers. He is a little nervous, but I think he will love it.

On Saturday, I tried to put Isaac in the pool.  It was not a big hit.

And now, I got a new phone.  Here is Isaac and his cute little face!

2 months old!

I can't believe this sweet little guy is two months old already!

Look at that tongue!

I am loving the many expressions of baby Isaac.

This sweet smile is definitely one of my favorites.

He's getting ready to laugh at his silly mom.

Isaac is really laid back when he is awake.  When he is asleep, he still wakes up really often.

I spend so much time rocking/walking/bouncing him to sleep, that I often just let him chill on his own while I get stuff done when he is awake.

He is getting a little better about waiting longer to eat in between nursing.  He is making it closer to two and half hours (or even three) if he is asleep or I'm wearing him.

He still loves to close one eye (like Tahl noticed in the hospital.)

It is harder to get him to smile with my nice camera because it blocks my face.

He is getting more social.  He likes to watch his brothers and to hear me sing.

Zev wanted to be in the pictures like last month.

This month Tahl was in a better mood, so he wanted to be part of it too.

Isaac did not enjoy the brother pictures as much as his solo session.

He did get some sweet kisses though.

He has some really silly brothers.

I'm sure from his smiles and silly faces that soon Isaac will fit right in.
We can't believe he has been here two months already. It feels like he just got here.

We are still feeling pretty lucky to have added this sweet guy to our family.  Though we do hope to announce that he is sleeping more next month!

We love you Isaac!
